        I rented a room at this hotel at two occasions during my trip. The hotel was really great. The second time, we were able to check me in before 3 pm, which is something I appreciate a lot. The room was spacious and the bed confortable in my two stay. I'm not a fan of the bathroom window wall and, on the second stay, the shower in our room was broken. The first stay, everything was correct. The breakfast was good. They could improve the selection I think. The neighboorhood is interesting. It's near a metro station and you have a easy access to the Praca Da Comercio via that station. I loved that easy access to the metro station. The price for the room was affordable. Really loved that.

        Room was hot and front desk person said the only solution was to open the window However, the window does not open and even if it did, the car noise was too loud. Room was not properly clean (tissues on floor). Funny smell permeated the hallways as well as the room. Shower was not properly cleaned. I would not recommend staying here.

        We have booked two superior double rooms. Both of the rooms were worn out and the shower had mould and rust. When reported to reception we were told that the housekeeping have left for the day (4pm) and they won’t be able to clean the bathroom that day. Although the staff were friendly they seemed to be very aware that the rooms were poorly maintained but were not able to offer any solution. (One of the receptionist went up to the room, to check whether our complaints were true and he has poured a bit of cleaning agent into the toilet)… Ok breakfast, quiet location.

        My recent stay at Lisbon São Bento was marked by a series of disappointments, overshadowing the potential of what could have been a pleasant experience, especially considering the rate of over $100 per night. Firstly, the room’s cleanliness was notably subpar. This was evident in aspects like poorly maintained walls and a rusty shower. Adding to the discomfort, I was dismayed to find no air conditioning in the room. When I raised this issue, the staff’s suggestion to simply open the window proved to be inadequate and led to further discomfort due to the loud street noise, which made it impossible to have a peaceful rest. Moreover, I was alarmed by the necessity to check for bed bugs due to the overall poor conditions of the room, a concern that is particularly distressing for any guest. This combination of factors compelled me to leave and seek accommodation elsewhere. I had anticipated a far better experience from Lisbon São Bento Hotel, especially given its price point. It is my sincere hope that this feedback will be taken constructively and lead to significant improvements for future guests.

        Excellent hotel, very clean and modern. Staff were super helpful. Breakfast was good if a little basic and it would have been nice to have some water in the room. I would defineatley stay there again next time I am in Lisbon.
