Recently my best friend and I had the pleasure of staying at the Longstreet Backpackers Hostel, and it exceeded all of our expectations in every way possible. From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted by the warm and friendly staff who made us feel right at home. We made a mistake with the booking and they were so helpful and accommodating. The hostel itself is a true gem. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. I stayed in a separate room, and I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious and well-maintained it was. The beds were comfy and the rooms were secure. One of the standout features of Longstreet Backpackers is the incredible atmosphere. It's a hub for international travelers, and it's incredibly easy to strike up conversations and make new friends in the communal areas. Whether you want to relax in the cozy lounge, challenge someone to a game of pool, or cook a meal in the well-equipped kitchen, there's always something fun happening. The staff at Longstreet Backpackers truly go above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. They have a wealth of knowledge when it comes to local recommendations and can help you plan your activities in and around Cape Town. They even organize regular events and tours, ensuring you make the most of your visit. Lastly, the location is unbeatable. Situated right on Long Street, you have access to a multitude of restaurants, bars, and shops. Plus, it's a great starting point for exploring Cape Town's many attractions. In summary, Longstreet Backpackers Hostel is more than just a place to sleep; it's an experience in itself. I can't recommend it enough to fellow travelers looking for a fantastic, friendly, and centrally located place to stay in Cape Town. I can't wait to return.

College student from America! It is like sleeping at a frat/sorority house. Good: So the staff is very nice and trust worthy, I felt comfortable leaving my computer out on my bed, and they held my luggage for some time - there is a strong community and they even have a very active Whatsapp group to let ppl know what events are going on. Very cheap and location is great. You get what you pay for, and I'm not complaining - also, there are women around in case you feel more comfortable with women. Bad: It is loud, I am a very heavy sleeper, so no issues for me, but I can def see how a medium sleeper could get no sleep here, also PLEASE don't run the risk of sleeping with s/o who snores. Also, the area around the hostel is not for a first time traveler - I loved it, it was an amazing vibe, but it can definitely be a lot for some ppl. Overall, enjoyed it, it was def a test of my ability to adapt, but got some amazing photographs of nightlife in Cape Town.

I only booked this place for a couple nights initially, after one night I extended my stay at long street backpackers till I left Cape Town. An amazing atmosphere with extremely friendly and helpful staff, if Ursula is working there when you visit you’re in luck. I highly recommend visiting.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. We will forward these requests to the hotel; however, please note that the hotel may or may not be able to accommodate them depending on availability at the time of check-in. Adani One does not collect GSTIN details on behalf of the hotelier, you may request this information directly from the hotelier during the check-in process.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
