I think the accommodation is ok but think it should be charged cheaper. The room itself is adequate and the bathroom is fairly basic, you may find the inside a bit old and traditional. It should be priced more like for budget stays. However I think they probably priced it for the area. Location is amazing, right in the middle of Madrid centre and the metro (Opera station) is literally down the road.

No, No, No...DO NOT STAY HERE....This is probably the worst hostel I've ever been to. I'm not sure where these positive reviews are coming from. The pictures are nothing like the place. I've never been more uncomfortable in a place before. In this place you literally get a little room in a house and the owners are extremely unfriendly and so they get extremely irritated very quickly (especially if you don't speak Spanish...which I do) and lack any sort of effort to make you feel comfortable. I wish I could say the cockroach in my room, the leaks around the bathroom, and the uncomfortable beds were the only problems but SHE CALLED THE POLICE ON ME! I showed up and a police officer showed me his badge and questioned me about my intentions of being here in Madrid. She mentioned it was routine and that I shouldn't worry. Not once did she feel the need to apologize for this inconvenience. I felt so uncomfortable there that I LEFT! I've always stayed at the cheaper hostels and endure what is in front of me but the lack of respect and the uneasiness that comes with this place is ridiculous. The location is ideal but If you need a comfortable place to stay then don't waste your time or energy...FIND ANOTHER PLACE.

From the outside the place looks crappy. The only thing to mention is the awesome location. Location doesn't get any better in Madrid. The price is not that low tho, but still cheap. Inside is not that bad. The rooms are clean and with aircon (a must in May to September in Madrid) and a private bathroom. The reception is not 24 but with a card they provide you can go in and out any time. The breakfast is included and the nice thing is that is served in a nice cafe besides Opera. Nice for young coupes in quick visits.

I spent three nights at the Hostal and had a very pleasant stay. The room was cleaned and towels changed every morning. The staff were very attentive and friendly. For breakfast you get a coupon and eat at a popular cafe on the main street two minutes walk from the Hostal. It's a great atmosphere and is often full of locals. Also quiet....rare in Madrid !

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. We will forward these requests to the hotel; however, please note that the hotel may or may not be able to accommodate them depending on availability at the time of check-in. Adani One does not collect GSTIN details on behalf of the hotelier, you may request this information directly from the hotelier during the check-in process.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
