This place is good. It's clean, it's funky. I stayed in a dorm pod and felt more than comfortable with the space. Everything worked smoothly, the pod doors were silent, the ladder was sturdy. There was ample space in the kitchen to leave your food. The bathrooms are cool and the hot water runs freely. It's my hostel of choice in Auckland now, but perhaps the most telling point is the staff were available, friendly and sorted things out without fuss. Thank you LyLo for elevating my stay.

The pods only have a tiny 120mm fan with bad bearings and poor airflow for ventilation. An upgrade to Noctua fan would be good! Otherwise the only AC is in the rooms themselves but it's absolutely nowhere near cold enough. Practically everyone sleeps with the doors open just to get some air, fans in the room are common. There's no windows too, which is odd. It's really hard to gauge the time of day, like being in a self storage locker. They have the ceiling lights on a timer to simulate sunlight but almost none gets into your pod, especially with the door closed. Even if it did It's indistinguishable from the floor lighting that's always on. Overall the place is really just a hotel with dorm rooms, decent bar and cafe downstairs with good prices. Travel agent selling tours, the usual large hotel hostel stuff. 24/7 check in was useful as I didn't arrive till 3AM. I would stay again but the value is hard to justify, over $50/night per pod.

Amazing lovely clean hostel lots of bathrooms, showers etc. nice clean comfy pod bed which is very different to any other hostel I've stayed in - means you get a quiet dark place to sleep which is great. My one gripe about the pod is the lighting is very bright and quite harsh if you turn it on in the night. Big loud bar when I stayed there on a Friday night but it's easily avoided as it's a big place with plenty of seating

It's got what you need! My husband and I stayed here for one night before our flight. Staff was helpful, fun spaces to hang out or relax, and there is a bar/restaurant right there. They kept our bags in storage while we explored the next day. We would definitely return here next time we are in Auckland!

Lylo is a clean hostel offering a very social atmosphere. I stayed here for a few nights during the new year and found the space to be adequate. Personally, I was a bit put off by some of the front desk staff who seemed annoyed by being asked questions or just not very friendly. Overall, a good place to stay for a quick visit.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. We will forward these requests to the hotel; however, please note that the hotel may or may not be able to accommodate them depending on availability at the time of check-in. The hotel reserves the right of admission. The hotel may refuse to honour the booking if it determines that the property policies have been violated.

If the booking cannot be confirmed due to certain circumstances, Adani One will refund the entire amount to the original mode of payment.

If the hotel is unable to confirm or deny the booking, Adani One is not under any obligation to provide an alternate booking in lieu of the unconfirmed booking.

Adani One does not collect GSTIN details on behalf of the hotelier, you may request this information directly from the hotelier during the check-in process.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
