Awesome hotel in central Inverness. Long established family-owned and operated business. Exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Superb breakfasts. Comfortable and spacious rooms. Appreciated the continental breakfast laid out when we had to catch an early train. Will be back!

We loved our 2 nights here. The hotel is very clean, quiet and attractive. The location is first rate for seeing the town and river. Breakfast was delicious. The host family was very good.

Didn't like the style of the hotel at all. Everything is very old, the floors are tilted and my room was very small and dark. On the other hand the owner is one of the most polite and friendliest man I've ever meet. Breakfast is served on demand and was excellent. Don't try the sausage.

I stayed at MacDougall Clansman in April while on vacation with a group of friends. We had 3 rooms in total and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent, it was a 5 minute walk from the train station, even with my very American suitcase. Iain and I had messaged earlier in the day about my arrival time and my room was ready early when I got there around 1:30pm. Even though we all booked separately, Iain surmised our group was together and managed to put us in rooms near each other which was really nice. The rooms were all clean and neat with tea and coffee with a kettle as well. Breakfast each morning was prepared to order, good variety of standard European breakfast items available plus more traditional Scottish breakfast items. We easily walked to restaurants and bars nearby, parking is available on the street or in a nearby parking garage. Highly recommend staying here when you are in Inverness!

Wonderful bed and breakfast in the middle of Inverness. Staff(Ian) was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was exceptional. Parking is limited out front but there is a parking garage with excellent rates only a 3-4 minute walk away. Will stay again on my next trip to Scotland!

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
