Outstanding hotel in an extremely convenient location. Over the last couple of weeks, I stayed at numerous hotels that I have ranked from five stars to one star on my reviews. This hotel definitely gets five stars and is one of the most outstanding on the trip. The location is great and it is literally a 30 second walk to Rundle Street. The mall ( pedestrian mall) is one block down to your left. There is a plethora of restaurants within a three minute walk. The room was decorated tastefully. There is a tub as well as a shower stall and the bathroom is great. Could use some more light. I guess people who lay out rooms go more for atmosphere than actually having to shave. We took several tours, and they had pick ups at the downtown hotels, including majestic. I was extremely handy, especially the kangaroo Island tour, which left at 6 AM. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Our room included breakfast when we booked it. The breakfast was quite good. In addition, there is a kettle and coffee sachets in the room to get you started. There are two elevators in there very quick. Some of our hotels he was always a back up at to check our time. This was not the case here. I highly recommend the hotel for a stay in Adelaide. When we come back here, we will definitely stay here.

This was my 3rd stay in this hotel due to the central locality. Both stays before were wonderful. This time on entering the room found the toilet had not been cleaned. The staff at reception were not very welcoming. We did arrive before check in and asked if we could leave our bags at reception while we attended an event. When we got back at around 5pm it seemed to be a hassle to retrieve our luggage. Paid for breakfast in my booking only to be charged again for breakfast after we had checked out. Was charged nearly $500 for a one night stay and the only pleasant service we received was from the ladies in the dining room at breakfast. It was not a $500 per night hotel will not be returning
