        This 5-star hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The spacious 150 square meter villas provided a luxurious and comfortable stay. The standout feature of this hotel, however, was the exceptionally sweet and attentive staff. From the moment I arrived, their warm hospitality made me feel like a valued guest. They were always ready to assist with any request, and their genuine friendliness added a personal touch to my stay. Overall, if you're looking for a top-notch and a getaway hotel experience with spacious villas and a staff that goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, Malisa is an excellent choice.

        On our arrival(January 14th), receptionists welcomed us warmly and check-in was very smooth. 02 Fillipino gentlemen (sorry I forgot to ask their names) were especially always smiling throughout our stay. Many thanks to both of them for making us feel like we’re home! Cleanliness of the room was up to high standard and every thing was organized neatly. There was a kitchen however no frying pans/knife were provided so if anyone wants to cook, you have to buy cooking equipment or bring ones from home if necessary. Also when we called the housekeeping team for cleaning the pool (because there were lots of leaves falling off from the trees above the villa), they immediately came to clean, we enjoyed the pool in our villa every day. The location is also very good! There are many restaurants/cafes/bars/massage places. Kata beach is just 5mins away from the villa. (Daytime is packed full, I recommend to go early) My partner and I initially booked for 7 nights however we had to extend our stay due to my medical incident. The staffs tried their best to accommodate us with an available room that doesn’t require me much movement from the previous villa as I could barely walk with crutches. They assisted us in every possible way and made us comfortable until the day of checkout. I felt difficult saying good bye to all the staffs as I really enjoyed the stay with Malisa villa suites. I highly recommend this villa. I hope to see you again!

        I am shocked that this is a 5 star hotel. Everything in the villa is so old and full of stains and dust. Upon check in, we found yellow stains all over the bed sheets. The toilet seat was yellow and the hose was full of rust. There was a bad smell around the toilet that wouldn’t go away and we have asked them so many times to clean it but they claimed there is no smell. They did eventually use bleach upon our request. Finally, we needed to extend our stay due to medical reasons, whether by a late checkout or pay another room and they claimed that the hotel is fully booked even though there are rooms available on booking & other websites.

        We had a one bedroom villa, and it has old bad furniture. And The restaurant at the hotel is very slow,the waiter there was aggressive and attitude even the next day at the breakfast. and I had bloating after eating there. The service is kind of slow, i wont advise anyone to eat there. The weirdest is that the breakfast buffet doesn’t have water! And if you need to drink water at the breakfast you need to pay for it, even if you have booked your villa including breakfast. !!! There is a lot of breakfast conditions!! still have no idea why the aggressive attitude!! And the delays? The rooms door and the windows wont close well, and the resort is full of frogs and worms and bugs, and when we requested to fix the door or change the room, this is how they fixed the issue! By putting a tape ! There is no kids club at the resort. The location is a bit far, since we’re trying to order a car to go to mall or a go kart, no one is accepting the location, we had to wait a lot for a car to arrive. The services is bad, since the workers try their best not to accept your request, waiting for you to change your mind, I ordered an extra blanket they said that the housekeeping doesn’t have any! I requested a well done eggs, they gave me raw, when I insisted on having a well done there were upset to do it! With unpleasant attitude! The hotel doesn’t have a spa! The gym is verrryyy tiny!! Not worth the price, its a 1.5 star hotel. I wont revisit it even for free !!

        The hotel seems to rent out spaces to other buisness in front of the hotel, like tailors, shops, pubs, etc. When frequenting one of the buisness and wanting to park an elderly man came to chatge thb 100. If you don't park exactly in front of the business, they would charge. Well, as it was a busy Sunday, there wasn't much space in front of the shop I was going to available. I asked the gentlemen who he was working for, he told me the hotel and he would be fine with it if I took a picture of him.
