        My husband and were travelling SA and stayed here for a couple nights in Dec. of 2023. Beautiful property. Resort-like feel. Five star service and quality, from the moment we entered. We wish we could have stayed longer!

        This is not a 5 star hotel. While the lobby is quite nice and the rooms are decent, we found a few things that would be unacceptable for most 5 star hotels during our stay. The room was unpleasantly warm, especially at night. Upon our call to the guest service, maintenance people showed and opened up part of the ceiling in the bathroom area where the AC system was located. We left the room and didn’t come back until late at night. To our surprise, we found that the ventilation filters were cleaned right in the only sink leaving a layer of dust there that no one cared to clean. The vanity and floor in the bathroom and hallway were covered with it too. I had to clean it myself to make sure we could actually use the bathroom as it was already well into the night. Next day before checkout, we stopped by the reception and talked to the manager, who thanked us for the feedback and said there was some sort of confusion. He told us the cleaning crew manager would follow up with an email. We got an email from the manager shortly after thanking us for the feedback and apologizing. No one asked if the room still needed to be cleaned though or if there was anything they could do. In addition, we found the service at the pool was slow and the food at the restaurant, except for breakfast, was just ok (though the restaurants staff was great).

        The AC was not working, and seems all rooms had this problem. It was way too hot. Luckily we only had the room for a few hrs as we caught a plane same night. Sleeping would have been uncomfortable. I am assuming this was a fault that had not been rectified the day we visited.

        In my experience at the Mandarin Oriental in Santiago de Chile, room 1411, from January 10th to 13th, I'd like to highlight some additional points. On the positive side, the attention at the Italian restaurant, especially from Javiera, was outstanding. Additionally, the variety and promptness of the in-room dining service were remarkable, particularly with the eggs benedict from the buffet. The concierge service proved to be fast and efficient, although at times, the staff seemed to operate at a slower pace. Overall, they managed to create a welcoming atmosphere that made me feel at home. However, the negative aspects persist. Waiting times at reception for check-in and check-out were noticeable. Common areas in the hallways needed renovation, displaying poorly maintained areas. Both loungers and towels in the pool area showed signs of wear. The glass in common areas and the large glass facade were noticeably dirty, impacting the visual quality of the surroundings. Additionally, I observed broken tiles at the entrance of the revolving door connecting the garden to the lobby, which could pose a safety hazard. Cobwebs in the room lamp and the prolonged presence of the in-room dining service cart in the hallway for almost ten hours were aspects that affected overall comfort. The poorly adjusted shower door gasket led to issues with water leakage. I also noticed that the uniforms of the concierge staff were poorly ironed and with dirty shoes, impacting the professionalism image of the establishment. Considering these aspects, and despite the efficient in-room dining service, the evaluation remains at 3 out of 5, limited by the inconveniences found in a Mandarin Oriental caliber hotel.

        I am very disappointed with this hotel. It claims to be a five-star hotel, but it does not live up to its reputation. The website does not mention that they are undergoing renovations, which are noisy and inconvenient. The customer service is terrible and the hotel room lacks basic amenities. I would not recommend staying there or wasting your money. There are many four-star hotels in Santiago that are much better. This hotel is definitely not worth five stars.

          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

          The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.
