What a fabulous stay over. We were overwhelmed by friendliness during check in and enjoyed a lovely time in the guesthouse that is located in walking distance from the beach and restaurants. The room was extremely neat. The night and out stay ended with a "best in town" breakfast. Filly recommended to future guests for a pleasant stay.

Stayed overnight here at the end of our holiday. The ocean view rooms were very luxurious and spacious. Sun loungers on a balcony looking out to the ocean were a nice touch. Breakfasts included homemade croissants! Service was fantastic.

We had the most pleasant experience at Manor on the Bay! Yamin and Olivier took excellent care of us, and made sure we had everything we needed and more. The room was spotless and breakfast was simple but delicious (the croissants are to die for!). We were close enough to the city to be able to enjoy what Cape Town has to offer but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city to relax. The winelands were also conveniently close. We will certainly be back on our next trip out there! Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable, we appreciate you!

Manor on the bay is a nice B&B with lovely spacious rooms, good beds, nice shower. And a lovely little yard with a small pool. The number of umbrellas is too small and the number of "beds" can be too small in comparison to the number of available rooms. Very friendly owners (Man, French but with perfect English, Woman, Birmese. both owners speak English and French and are extremely friendly. The location has not that much to offer, compared to for example the peninsula (Fish hoek, Kalk Bay), but is nice enough. The Manor has a direct and very lovely view over the Bay, there is only a small street separating the Manor from the sea. The road can be quite busy during the day but is pretty quiet at night. We stayed in Family Suite because our daughter joined us. Be aware that the Bunk bed is not really suitable for adult children and certainly not for tall boys Absolutely worth mentioning is that there is no power blackout (load shedding) as Manor on the bay has it's own (day time) solar power grid and night time battery power, sufficient even for the use of the AC / hair dryer etc We absolutely recommend The Manor on the Bay... Thanks Olivier and Olya for making our stay so nice.
