Marina Sunrise Osaka Bay

Had high expectations upon arrival, but unfortunately throughout and by the end of the stay was extremely disappointed. Entering the room it smelled of cigarettes. We thought the smell would go away the first time, but every time we came back to the room after leaving for the day it reeked of cigarettes which was confusing as there were "no smoking" signs up everywhere. The room looked briefly cleaned when we walked in, but after looking close up there were stains all over the couch and chair and so much dust essentially on every single piece of furniture. The hangers also kept breaking off when trying to use them. The AC heater unit only worked on one half of the room. The other half of the room would be freezing from cold air entering through the front door due to gaps on top and below the door. The mini fridge had a huge block of ice from the freezer portion which took up so much room in the already small fridge and also froze our drinks solid every time we put it in the fridge. Showering was a complete nightmare. The shower head would continuously turn to the left regardless of how many times you adjust it and made it so difficult to shower. You would have to stand in the bathtub portion to shower properly unless you’re comfortable with turning the shower head back to yourself every minute. Once we checked ourselves out, we waited in the lobby with our luggages for our taxi, an employee only asked us to leave the lobby and wait out front in the cold, but allowed other hotel guests to wait indoors. Overall not happy with the stay throughout and would not recommend it to anyone thinking of staying in Osaka, you are most likely better off anywhere else.
