Excellent location . There is a metro station outside the hotel. The Rossio station only 15 min walk in a very beautiful avenue. Nearby you can several restaurants. Very clean comfort rooms. The stuff is very friendly and helpufull. The reception gave us a lot of information of the city !

Stayed here in July 2023 for 4 nights. The rooms were very clean and the housekeeping staff was very nice. We ended up having to pay for ironing for 2 outfits, and they still aren’t wrinkled to this day. We booked the family room, which was actually 2 separate rooms; one with a king bed and one with 2 twin beds. Despite facing a main busy street, the hotel was rather quiet. The location was good with access to many restaurants and sites, but a little further away from what I guess would be more touristy areas. Only complaint would be the included breakfast was lots of pastries and carbs. Would have appreciated more protein and beverage options.

Very poor quality for the cost. The rooms definitely need renovation, soundproofing and extra sockets in the bathroom and in the bed side. You also definitely need good ventilation in the bathroom because there is none, resulting in the whole room being dazzled when you bathe. Also, the Internet access points are located in the corridor outside the rooms, with the result that the coverage is not good enough, as befits a hotel of this type. Also most important of all! At the hotel during our stay, maintenance work was being carried out in adjacent rooms, none of the staff informed us about this, despite this they placed us next to the drills! We were informed by an announcement in the elevator that planned work was being carried out! I think we should have known about it and they should have informed booking.com as well. None of this happened! When we were asked at check out if everything is ok and I said no, everything is not ok because of the above, they offered to treat us to the sparkling water we got from the mini bar in the room! Of course I didn't accept this because it was just ironic! Apart from the poor quality, I admit that it was very clean and the housekeeping did a good job! What I didn't like at all was that they didn't leave water in the room every day and if you took it from the buffet at breakfast they charged you. Also, an additional positive is that it is located on a main street of Lisbon, close to metro stations and from there you can go anywhere! Of course, for the same money, you can find much better on the same road.

Spent 7 nights at Hotel Marques de Pombal early January 2024. Highly recommend this hotel!! Location is perfect! Right by the famous Marques de Pombal monument and traffic circle. Safe area. High end shops down the beautiful Avenue de Liberdade great for window shopping. Can walk/stroll just about anywhere. (Get the Rick Steves Portugal book to help you!) We took several tours (Sintra, Fatima, Belem, Castle, boat, etc) and having the Grayline meeting location nearby was such a bonus. Delicious authentic restaurants were usually found on a side street (again, Rick Steves book or ask Reception staff) - but we ate several nights at hotel restaurant. (Rafael Is an excellent chef!) Ate breakfast a few times and thought it was good, easy start to our day and well priced. Staff was exceptional! We requested to change rooms after first night because of a shower door leak. Shout out to Bina at Reception - she found us another room and staff helped us move. No issues! Bina made our visit so pleasant, booked our tours and was friendly, caring and professional. Marcio in the restaurant was personable and made us feel at home. Overall, a great experience! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel and location to our friends. Will come back again!

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
