I stayed at the Mercer House Boria whilst in Barcelona on a business trip and I was impressed. This is a boutique hotel so you're not going to get the hotel-chain service and facilities. The location is perfect as a launch pad for a city tour and it's located very conveniently for bars, restaurants and the metro.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The room are very spacious with confortable bed. Living room is ample with a small kitchenette. They do have an electric stove top but it’s off for safety. Perhaps you get it with long term stays. Front desk was very nice, cleaning and service overall was great. For the gothic quarters the rooms are very big. Location wise this is a great spot as you can quickly get to everything. Just keep in mind if you taxi here you have to walk to the place as taxi cannot drive on the street. Look for the big wooden doors. Overall happy we stayed here and good spot especially if you plan to do the tourist stops.

We stayed for 3 nights in BCN. From the moment I got there until the moment we left, the service was outstanding. Every employee I encountered was extremely helpful and friendly. Room and bathroom were clean, and the location really couldn't have been better for exploring the city. I would absolutely return for another stay.

It was significantly overpriced for the services and amenities. The bathroom was in poor condition with the shower leaking on the entire bathroom floor. The hotel also posted as having a kitchen, but kitchen appliances were disconnected. The hotel also refused to provide us complimentary coffee, shampoo, and soap after our first night there. We were there for 5 nights, and there were 4 people and we expect to have been much better taken care of there for the cost of this stay. We also had a very noisy neighbor and asked the hotel to ask them to be more quiet, but when the hotel staff intervened, they did so in a way that put us in direct contact with the other hotel guests which we felt was unprofessional and counterproductive

We had high hopes for this hotel, based on the pictures online. Unfortunately, the reality ended up being very different. We were shocked to find a cockroach in the lobby shortly after we arrived (picture attached). The lobby also has a terrible sewer smell. There was a hair in a cereal bowl that was in the kitchen (pictures also attached). In addition, the nonfunctional dishwasher is moldy. After coming back from grocery shopping with ingredients to prepare a meal, we realized that we did not have a sponge, soap, dish towel, etc…. we asked for these items at the front desk, but were told we would not need them because the kitchen is nonfunctional. However, the kitchen is clearly shown and advertised in online/promotional photos of the hotel. On a side note, there is insufficient lighting in the room, a lack of outlets on the walls, and quite a few light switches that seem to not work or be connected to anything. Considering how expensive this hotel is, we’re extremely disappointed.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
