        This is an excellent hotel. The quality of the rooms is uniquely fantastic. I have never seen a hotel room like this before, it shows the culture of Kazakhstan while incorporating very modern technologies. The location is very city central where you can find food or shopping nearby. The public transport is readily available and easily accessible to distant places within the country or city. The biggest problem which is not a major factor, is not all staff speak English properly. To someone who speaks Russian or kazak you'll have no problem there.

        The hotel location deserves a six stars. It’s in the middle of everything with easy access . The restaurant was fantastic and breakfast options where endless, although the amazing breakfast the crepes used to finish out really quickly😅. The service is spectacular the offered us a meal for our early trip back. The rooms where spacious. They also offered cakes for birthdays, it was some surprise. The hotel was quiet but the last night (3 days ago) there where parties happening in the room in front of us. I beleive they had drinks and loud music and there where more the 7 people in the room. The hotel was great just not the last night.

        This was one of the nicest hotels I stayed in throughout my two weeks in Central Asia. The staff was great, the location was great, I would choose to stay here again. The only recommendation I would make would be for the hotel to have a filtered water bottle refill station, even if it is just at the bar. They were great in providing additional bottled water, and they have taken other environment measures, but every bit helps.

        We had a wonderful experience staying at Mercure. The hotel accommodated an early check in at an extra charge but it was worth it. After check in we had a very comfortable sleep for a few hours (the blackout curtains were a blessing). The breakfast was good but waffles and pancakes should definitely be added to the breakfast menu. The location of hotel is perfect to explore the city and some wonderful cafes nearby. Faced few challenges in communicating with the Spa staff due to language barrier but it was not much of an issue. The guests use the translation app but in my view hotel staff should also be provided with usage of such apps for better communication. May be exploring some standalone translation device. All in all a great experience.
