        I booked the Milano Central due to its central location. The hotel has a 4 star rating and the marketing material indicates a good standard of accommodation. I felt this was an unrealistic / dishonest appraisal of the presentation of the hotel. If I had not pre-payed using my Accor Credits I would have checked out and found a different hotel.

I have promised him to write in an email to the hotel's management but the email was not delivered so I decided to share it here instead. We had the pleasure of interacting with your team throughout our stay, and I must say that their professionalism, attentiveness, and dedication to ensuring a memorable experience truly stood out. Amongst them is Aldo - from the moment we arrived at the hotel, he greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel welcome.         Surprisingly excellent Mercure in central Milan! It’s currently undergoing a major renovation and we were given a newly renovated superior room which was fantastic, modern and comfortable with a great shower. Staff were very friendly and applied Accor status benefits without needing to be asked. Location fantastic only a 20 min walk from the Duomo or a 5 minute metro ride with the station literally outside the door. Many excellent coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. Can be a bit loud at night due to the central location!
