        The hotel is well located. It was very nice to be able to check in earlier. Check in was quick and professional. It was unpleasant that you were asked to deposit 50€ for extra service. The room was ok, the bed very good, housekeeping too. There could be a little more attention paid to the dust in the room. The breakfast was also very good. A big disappointment was that you had to pay extra for the spa. I assumed that it would be free for hotel guests. If this had been clearly visible on the internet, I would have booked the Ibis hotel. Lastly, I ordered a taxi to the airport at the reception. The friendly young woman told me that it would cost 14€. When I asked, she confirmed this. But then the driver demanded 40€ from me. I would never have ordered a taxi for 40€ when you can get the same service at Bolt for 10-12€. I felt badly cheated and unfortunately left Riga with a very negative impression.

        It was my first time in Riga and it was an excellent experience. The hotel is in a good location. All amenities you might need are nearby. I was surprised though that they needed a deposit of 50 euros. Not sure why. I have traveled around the world and being an ACCOR member, this was strange. I had never had this before.

        Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Room was okay, customer service is bad. They charge you 15€/person for using the spa, even though they never mentioned it in their website. You can hear every voice from outside and from the hallway in your room. The bed is hard as a rock. The minibar was empty, but they still charged the deposit of using it. The breakfast was mediocre. The queues for coffee machines were 15-20 minutes. There should be coffee and hot water in thermos bottles. There were no cold water, only juices that ran out all the time.

        Had a lovely welcome when I arrived - room was ready early and it was clean and well made up on arrival. The hotel was located in a good location with key areas in walking distance and shops close by. The staff on the desk spoke English - which was a relief and they were very helpful when I needed to know about trains and locations. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was quiet so perfect to have a good night sleep! The only thing preventing me from giving it a 10 is the breakfast. The sausages were the cheap small frankfurters and the scrambled egg was cold on all three days I was there. I would have liked to have seen some cold meats too along with the cheese that was on offer. I also was going to utilise the spa during my stay but found out I had to book 2 hours in advance and pay 15 euros for 2 hours. I thought it was included in my stay. Overall a very enjoyable and comfortable stay

        Nice hotel, reception - not so much. I booked a room, with optional sparkling wine and a fruit platter. There were no fruits in the room. Asked reception if it was a mistake, they said they will bring fruits to the room. Waiting for a few hours - nothing. Went to reception again. More waiting. After 5hours(I thought this would take 10min) fruits came to my room and not prepared. Suggestion for future: fruits like oranges should be sliced or brought with some kind of tool/knife.
