        Room was good value for money - price point was on lower end of hotels we looked at. The room was reasonable size for the price and was clean. The staff were courteous and helpful. The room was not cleaned every night however the staff at check in informed us of this at check in so it was not a surprise. We did not book breakfast with the room - but even adding it on the morning it was good value if you have kids 12 and under who eat for free with an adult.

        First time to Melbourne and really enjoy my stay here, it’s dead center in the central business district. Walkable distance to china town and trams and buses, very convenient. Rooms are also clean but the walls are thin, could hear the rooms next to each other. Staff were really friendly. Has cab calling service if needed. Would definitely stay here again.

        Poorest and worst service we have ever had! Not one of but the worst. We booked a queen bed room, when checked in, the reception arranged a room at the end of corridor which we don't like, we asked if there is any else, told no. It is fine, when we went upstairs, we found it a disabled room, we don't mind, but in case that there was anyone really needs the room, we asked again if there is any other rooms and explained our concern. We also showed the booking page that there are still queen bed rooms available and there were people keep coming to check in. The reception said he would ask manager to handle, and let us to get back to room, if done the manager will contact or directly come to room to lead us to new room. Then we wait for half hour, nothing happened, we got down and saw there a new staff in reception, when we asked, she knew nothing about the case and said manager is not doing such thing for us. So the previous staff just wanted to delay us till he shifted? The poor service didn't end yet, we took that room, then in the evening, we turned on the TV, it was around 11, we saw a pop up showing on the screen asking for update, and with our remote we cannot close it or click update, so we called for help, the reception said will send someone up to help, then we wait for two hours till we slept, nothing happened, no one showed up, no following up call. Nothing. Really interesting. And the second day, we are going to check out, the check out time is 12:00, right after 12, we are packing our luggage, guess what, the staff came! so on time, and said if we don't leave in 10 minutes there will be extra charge! wow! why this time you do your job so quickly? That moment I felt like I was in a jail rather than a hotel. If you really so much want some extra charge, you should at least tell me that when check me in isn't it? Anyway, the room is not bad, but really normal and old, bit smelly for a sensitive nose, location is the only good. Service is the worst, will never book again.

        Great location and that's about it. Rooms are old and the hotel has little facilities with a crowded and dreary lobby area. Breakfast is very basic and barely worth the $25 charge. We had a room on a high floor so there was little street noise. The air conditioning could not get the temperature cool enough even on moderate heat days. The bathroom is very small but the water is nice and hot.

        Is in a good location for shopping. Room was clean but. Main room lights one didn’t work the other bulb was very dim so room was dark as window pointed into a small area in middle of buildings little sunlight. No drain in bathroom so when shower leaked floor stayed wet room only serviced every three days so floor remains wet for days. Air conditioning was also very noisy rattling and controls didn’t work properly
