Overall a comfortable and cozy room that is reasonably clean with some issues. Lights: Bedside lamps are flickering, with one of the lights on top of the bed not working. Room is generally dimly lit. In room mini fridge is not functioning well. Be careful of throwing finished food items in the bin, mine attracted ants very quickly through a hole in the bathroom wall. Service was good though, rooms are cleaned daily and cleaning up the toilet was done quite quickly upon request. Nice touches such as water dispenser at level 1 and it's located near food areas in Austin area

Midori Concept Hotel’s guest relations staff and housekeeping provided excellent service, and were prompt in responding to enquiries. While the hotel was located in an area that is a foodie’s haven, the facilities in the hotel can be greatly improved. The level that our rooms were located on was not well ventilated. The rooms were stuffy and had a strange musty smell. The mini fridge wasn’t working well. The beds and sheets felt dusty as well and unfortunately triggered the allergies of my younger ones. This could be a rare case where the dust had settled on the sheets and beds, and we were just unfortunate to experience it. However, the price of the hotel stay was very economical. Public parking lots are also available and one can easily pay for the parking via the MBJB app. If the facilities can be improved, I would be happy to patronise again.

Pros: Decent service. Staff were responsive to queries and requests. Room was cleaned on a daily basis. Cosy room. Water dispenser at lobby allows for customers to have access to free filtered water round the clock. Location is good - many food places around the hotel. Newly renovated so fittings were relatively new. Cons: There was an ants nest in the toilet, so within 1 hour of throwing our food packaging in the bin, ants swarmed in. Cleaners quickly attended to the trash upon request but the ants nest (a hole in the wall) remained, hopefully they fixed it after we left. Towels had holes in them. Room mini fridge was not functional. Shower heater was inconsistent - water temperature was inconsistent. No countertop space available in toilet.

Enjoyed stay. Clean, spacious and comfortable room. Nice decoration. Friendly staff. There are some discounts to nearby F&B (for selected items which you may wish to clarify first). Minor issues were light bulb outside room flickering, wallpaper and plaster slightly peeled, second floor corridor was a bit stuffy, noise isolation could be better, and WiFi at our room was slow.

Toilet is cleaned and nice, comes with a rain shower as well. Basic amenities such as towels, toothbrush, soap etc are available for usage. Tv programmes are mainly Singapore channels. Wifi connection strength is excellent.👍🏻 The room card have to place at the exact spot for the sensor to detect to get the door open, took a while until we figured it out. The only downside is the soundproof is pretty bad. Can hear the cleaner opposite with the plastic flicking loud sound which is quite bad during our rest. The hotel also provides mineral water in the room, but down the lobby also got distill water to fill up, hot water is available as well which is great. The management also partner with restaurant and drink store for further discount. Near walking distance to Jaya super market which made this hotel a great choice of location.
