        Five stars for the style, quality and luxury of the apartments here, each with private bathroom and balcony. But there is also a large shared kitchen, shared lounge and shared terrace. A light breakfast is served but you can cook your own if desired. A good place to stay for a group of friends travelling together because each can have their own rooms but get together in the communal areas. However, other guests might also be in those communal areas. This place is unstaffed and many guests have written about how difficult it was to find it, and how hard it was to get through the doors; the telephone app to unlock doors just doesn't work for many people. If you are prepared to share your luxury and do without attention by the owners then this may suit you.

        Very very difficult to find, and to come and go. Street address was given, but not unit or floor number, so we had to start at the top and WALK our way down, trying each door. Keys are an electronic app on your phone, so no phone no access. No battery, no access. Or, as was our case app decided not to work for 30 minutes and your locked out of the apartment at midnight. Elevator was impossible, about 100yrs old (not exaggerating) and people kept leaving the elevator doors open on other floors, which meant you constantly had to walk up or down 6 flights levels of stairs. Actual apartment was ok, had been cleaned but still has muck splashed up the walls. Breakfast was served daily, along with a note demanding that we do our own dishes as WE ARE NOT A RESTAURANT.. let a bad taste in our mouths. No thanks.

        Finding and accessing the apartment wasn't as tricky as the reviews below say!! We knew the address and found it easily without a problem. The app we had to use worked fine, and was only for unlocking the building and occasionally to the floor where our rooms were. Took us 5 minutes total to figure everything out and bring our luggage to the room. Although it would have been nice to see a sign in the building marking the aparments, or at least a concierge/employee to check with, just in case. Parking is nearby but be warned that you will have to pay. There are two garages close by, just a block away from the apartments. The Milton House is basically private rooms but with shared common spaces. All guests have their own bedroom and bathroom- joined by two common areas including a kitchen and living area. The free wifi and breakfast was a nice perk, in addition to complimentary tea and coffee in the kitchen space. Rooms were clean and spacious! We had a room near the kitchen area, which can be loud in the mornings during breakfast time. If you're in one of these rooms I suggest getting earplugs or waking up early. The elevator was a little sketchy as well- super old and a bit creaky. As the apartments were on the 4th floor, the elevator was the way to go for us. But we felt so uncomfortable that we took it one at a time with as little luggage as possible. Also be warned that they ask for photos of your passport... which is sketchy

        As it mentioned before its not a hotel. Its an apartment devided into rooms. It has perfect location, rather clean BUT you feel yourself like in a hostel. It is toooo noisy, old doors, old floor, old windows. You can hear sounds from everythere. Poor breakfast. There is no safe. No reception. No staff at the evening. Every night guests who is coming back late wake you up because its impossible to open the door and they bell the ring. Every morning the staff wake you up while prepearing breakfast. Never ever ever come back.

        A great find, when we found it! The rooms are modern and clean with a communal area before breakfast and balcony area. It did takes us a while to figure out where the place was as it doesn't have signage, so look for the building number. Overall had a very good experience.

          Booking Policy
