We had no issue at all with location; in Kyoto there is a lot of travelling no matter where you go. The room was 100% fantastic. For a family; with a bit of independence for small cooking and relaxation; it’s fantastic. The laundry facilities are brilliant. To note: the staff are so so so helpful. Honestly a great place to stay for reasonable money; thank you team Mimaru

I recently stayed at Mimaru Kyoto Nishinotoin Takatsuji, and I'm delighted to share that my experience was nothing short of wonderful, deserving a 90 out of 100 rating. The hotel's spacious rooms are its hallmark, equipped with a well-appointed kitchen and sufficient space for four beds, offering the comforts of home while on the road. The staff's exemplary service stood out, demonstrating both professionalism and a warm, friendly approach. Their attentiveness and hospitality significantly enhanced my stay. Although I didn't try any food at the hotel, the absence of a dining experience was barely noticeable given the variety of restaurants within easy walking distance, as noted in recent reviews. A highlight of Mimaru Kyoto is its location. Nestled in the bustling Shimogyo Ward district, it provided excellent accessibility to Kyoto's numerous attractions and cultural sites, making it an ideal base for exploration. The hotel’s central location is perfect for guests who enjoy walking and experiencing the city’s vibrant atmosphere. The overall cleanliness and value for money at Mimaru Kyoto Nishinotoin Takatsuji are commendable, as echoed by many other guests. Relatively new hotel with ample space to move around. Fully furnished with microwave, stove, 2-door fridge with utensils for cooking. Hotel is about 5-6mins walk to nearest Shijo Station (Exit 6). Highly recommended!!

Amazing apartment. New, clean, big enough space for 4 king single beds to cater 2 adults and our children aged 7 years and 8 months old. Bit of a walk to downtown but lots to see. 10 mins walk to train station. 17-20 mins to Nishiki Market. We love walking so not an issue with distance. We did it with a 7 years old and 8 months in stroller so seasoned traveller will find this location central. Well done.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
