        We had a pleasant time staying at Mimaru. As others mentioned, this is an apartment hotel, so the level of service and onsite amenities aren't the same as regular hotels. In my opinion, this is actually a good thing. You barely see other guests, and the suite is spacious and quiet. There is no restaurant on site, but you won't need one, as you have access to many coffee shops, diners and restaurants in a few minutes walk. The hotel is located in a more traditional commercial / residential area of Tokyo, and you don't bump into a ton of other tourists, which is great too. As of the room - being able to wash and dry your clothes is a really wonderful amenity that I cannot praise enough. I have never seen any cleaning maid, but the room is cleaned and made up properly everyday. The suite is a bit pricey, but still cheaper and more convenient than booking two rooms. The only complaint I have is that you don't get much view at all from your room, which is understandable given the hotel's location. I will definitely return to Mimaru for longer trips to Tokyo.

        Loved staying here. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite with our teenage kids. It was perfect as it had a really nice lounge area and kitchen in the apartment.

        Our family trip couldn’t be completed without this hotel! We traveled as a group of six and Mimaru suites tokyo nihombashi meets our requirements! Staff are very nice and helpful; they explain about all facilities we can use, all services, how to plan our trip and so on. We didn’t experienced any unsatisfactory during the stay. Everything is perfect! Actually I didn’t take many pictures of the room because it is exactly the same as it shown on the website. On our last day, the staff gave us a pop-up card as a souvenir, we appreciated a lot! I, however, would definitely choose this hotel for the next trip visiting Japan.

        This is a very nice area that reminded me a bit of Surry Hills in Sydney with the small bars and restaurants everywhere Having wandered through the more touristy area's of Tokyo, the neighbourhood and the restaurants around MIMARU felt so much more inviting and genuine. It is also noticeably cleaner and far less busy. The rooms themselves are not luxury (nor would they be at this price point) but for our family (2a3c) were fantastic, neat and tidy with just enough space to function as a family unit eager to get out as early as possible each day. We had a 21 day jr pass and bought 3x 72hr metro passes to easily navigate anywhere from this base. I seriously recommend having these as you don't need to think and can just get up and go wherever you want. The metro station entrances are a stones throw away. I want to call out the washer dryer machine as a very useful addition to the room that meant each day we could start a cycle and return home to washed and dried clothes. So happy this is in our room! The staff, like everyone in Japan, were super helpful and booked restaurants plus our luggage to the kyoto mimaru, domo arigatou gozaimasu!

        Have edited this post after the hotel service staff and managers took action to rectify the issues below. Checked in today. When we were about to rest this evening, I realised that all the beds were of such poor quality that they were literally “sinking” in when one sits on it. This was the same for all four beds. This was unacceptable because the rooms were not cheap and I had thought that that Mimaru was a high quality brand. So I spoke to the front desk and realised that this was not the first complaint received about the mattress. Other similar complaints had been made in the past. The front desk - Raziel tried his best to help and said that the only option was to replace with a tatami mat of sorts or try to flip the bed. The former would of course result in having us sleep on a tatami mat that was low instead of a normal bed. This was not too big of an issue except that we then realised they did not have enough tatami mats to replace all the mattresses. As such, I went back to the room and tried to flip the mattresses. I was shocked to discover that not only was the mattress too soft and poor quality, there was also dried blood stains on the mattress protector. See my pictures as proof of what I took this evening. To make matters worse the reception closes at 10pm so there isn’t anyone to help now as I post this past midnight and i have to wait till morning. Edited the following day: The hotel manager reached out and personally saw to it that the mattresses as well as the soiled mattress cover were promptly replaced. Would like to give due credit to the manager and rest of hotel service staff for the prompt and sincere service recovery.
