        I generally feel that it is amazing, if you have children, you can ask for a bunk bed. The toilet surprises me. Although the room is pretty small, there is a bath tub. There is a smoking room at the receptionist area, toilets, vending machines and pamphlets for places near the lift. It is also wheelchair accessible. There is a laundromat and a rooftop with an amazing view. Service on the other hand is self service other than the cleaning. You have to collect your own robes and coffee, tea.

        We stayed here as a family recently and loved this hotel. Room was great, very clean and a good size for Tokyo. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Location is a little out of the main Shinjuku area but I think that was a positive as Shinjuku can be a bit overwhelming. Highly recommend as a hotel and would love to stay at other Mimaru hotels if they are all this good.

        We stayed here as a family recently and loved this hotel. Room was great, very clean and a good size for Tokyo. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Location is a little out of the main Shinjuku area but I think that was a positive as Shinjuku can be a bit overwhelming. Highly recommend as a hotel and would love to stay at other Mimaru hotels if they are all this good.

        Very nice location in the middle of shinjuku. The room was big and comfy. The service was okay, they could make the bed everyday instead of every three days. The price is really fair for what you get. Can recommend this hotel.

        Rooms were spacious and good enough. Hotel is at least 15 minute walk from Shinjuku JR trains, not ideal during the summer. What my complaint is the constant threat that staff gives to guests. 1000 yen if you lose your room key( we didnt lose our room key but heard this mentioned numerous times with other guests) I’ve never heard of a hotel charging for lost room keys. 5000 yen for checking out late. We left the room 7 minutes late and received a call threatening a 5000 yen charge. Although we never used any extra cleaning service, anything outside of the scheduled room service will also be charged. Feels like the hotel cheaped out on staff and made the customer pay for every little thing. Checking out 7 minutes late was our fault however the staff could have been more tactful instead of always using money as a threat, just makes the hotel feel cheap and is off putting, especially after giving them our business for 11 nights. If you’re going to charge premium rates stop acting like a cheap hotel and give the guests the benefit of the doubt instead of threatening them with all these extra charges. What could have been a great stay was offset by the hotel’s insistence to continually remind us of extra charges like we are children. The hotel policy needs to do better for guests’ impression of Japanese hospitality.
