My husband and I had an incredible two-night stay at this hidden gem. On our floor, there were only three rooms, providing us with a sense of privacy that we truly appreciated. But the real highlight was our room. The moment we stepped inside, we were genuinely wowed by its spaciousness and elegant design. The living room seamlessly connected to a well-appointed kitchen area with a Nespresso machine and a microwave, making it feel like a home away from home. The bath/shower room was a real standout. It had a unique Japanese sit-down bath area right next to a bathtub, giving it the feel of a private Japanese bathhouse. The attention to detail in the design was a pleasant surprise. And let's not forget the heavenly comfort of the beds. Breakfast was a cozy affair on the first floor, where we had a delightful chat with the friendly receptionist, adding a personal touch to our morning. The hotel's location, close to Kyoto's traditional areas, was another plus. We learned that this hotel had opened its doors just six months ago, and we felt incredibly lucky to have stumbled upon it. Without a doubt, we'll be making this our go-to choice for future visits to Kyoto.

I booked this location because of the amazing photos of the hotel and the fantastic reviews about the service. Both exceeded my expectations! The design is impeccable, the room was extremely comfortable and quite spacious for Japan, with many thoughtful details (like an iPad for extra info, converter, clothing spray, and more) and very clean. However the service really went above and beyond. Each staff member knew my name and helped me with everything from sending my luggage prior to my arrival, to booking a restaurant for me, and calling taxis for me when I needed one. Being located in the historic Gion neighborhood surrounded by beautiful walking streets and delicious restaurants was a big bonus. A full breakfast was not included, but the coffee & croissants was a nice touch. Will definitely stay here again.

My partner and I absolutely loved the Miru Gion -- It's brand new and the amenities, location, service and price are unmatched compared to other hotels in Kyoto (and Japan!). It's within walking distance to a 7/11, and multiple Metro options. The space was designed thoughtfully to maximize areas for sleeping, sitting, and storage, including distinct areas in the bathroom for the sink, toilet, and shower to enhance privacy. The morning croissants were a great perk, as well as the in-room Nespresso (refilled every day!) to kickstart our morning. The staff were marvelous -- Friendly and helpful, always striking conversation and seemed genuinely interested in our trip. They held our bags upon arrival and departure, and helped us out with them as we left the hotel. They truly went above and beyond in every way and we'd love to visit their other locations! Every review is spot on and we don't write a lot of reviews for places we love, so posting this means a lot!

We had a great stay at Miru Kyoto Gion. The room was very nice; it had a large king size room with sliding doors separating it from the lounge area. The bathroom facilities were great. We also enjoyed the complementary croissant in the morning. The staff were very friendly and helpful (and we appreciate that they could speak English! We are so embarrassed not to know more Japanese). The location is great, in a lower density part of the older side of town, a quick walk to main roads, and also across the bridge to the taller side of town. Highly recommended.

Amazing location and great staff! Rooms are new and immaculate. They accommodated my reservation dates as quickly as I requested a change and when I rolled my ankle during the day they helped me find what I needed. Will never stay at any other Kyoto Hotel!!

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
