Mitsui Garden Hotel Toyosu Premier Tokyo

I really enjoyed my week long accommodation at this hotel, it was as advertised in the photos which is always nice; got what I expected and more importantly in many ways. Clean, comfortable, beautifully designed interior and rooms, excellent service, awesome views and great location. I stayed in 3 different rooms, started in the Executive Corner King suite, top floor. Had a view of Mt. Fuji, the canal and the city which all look sweet at night and during the daylight hours. Room is plenty spacious, comfortable and well laid out. Something about taking a bath and shower with Mt. Fuji staring back at you was profoundly cool. Really took my time in there, must have bathed a dozen times in the 2 nights I spent in this suite. Next was the Deluxe King with Bath View suite, top floor. Same great bed and view as the corner, just reduced to a single non wrap around window. Same view from the tub, which again, totally worth it, very romance. Tip: to avoid fogging up the window, take a bath instead of a shower. I believe that was the intention of the design. It just fogs up when you shower, but running a hot bath did not cause any fogging up whatsoever. Spent 4 nights in this room. Final room was the Moderate Double. Spent 1 night here. Great bed, room was plenty big, nice view of the city. Bathroom pales in comparison to the other two of course, but still more than enough to get cleaned up. Overall, highly recommend, especially due to hotel location, basement is packed with many restaurants, close proximity to all of Tokyo with the metro access in the basement floor, and Toyosu itself is a nice place for a pleasant stroll. Favourite aspect of the hotel’s design, was probably the basement floor and 1st floor near the elevators; with the atmospheric music playing and the dungeon style hallways, it resembles a classic video game with a dungeon level, felt like I was on a quest. One note regarding staff, I received the same great service regardless of which room I stayed in during each of my 3 separate check-ins, which isn’t always the case with some hotels. Really cool staff.
