The check-in went smoothly enough - there is no parking at the hotel so they rent space in an off-site parkade...a block further down and on the fifth level. If you have luggage to unload from your vehicle you're in for a hike back to the hotel. When we got back and into our room we noticed the garbage can at the front door was full of used tissues and a large clump of hair. When we started to unpack we found hairs all over the pillows and when we pulled the blanket on the bed back we found more hair and stains on the sheets - the bed had clearly not been changed since the last guest. On further inspection there were clumps of hair stuck to the walls of the shower. We went to the front desk to ask for the room to be cleaned and the sheets changed but we were told there was no cleaning staff on site so we asked to change rooms. I asked if they were busy and was told that they weren't so I assumed they would put us in a nicer room for our trouble. The room they put us in was right next to the ice machine and right above what we could only assume was the smoking area. By the time we moved our things to the new room we had missed our diner reservations which I mentioned several times to the front staff with no response back. We barely slept and checked out first thing in the morning. We know mistakes happen so we had hoped the hotel would have offered a discount on the stay or a complimentary meal but all that they offered was to take care of the parking - an $18 charge. We will never stay there again.

Location is excellent for transit and sightseeing nearby, staff friendly and helpful. We stayed in the standard King which was a little old for the interior and had a dreary view of some pipes, etc outside the window. The floor upstairs was very creaky and woke us up. Water pressure good and overall very clean. It’s definitely got some issues, but passable and works hard to make its worth.

Perfect place were to stay. Good location and additionally in a quiet area. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Very good balance between price and quality. All the places in downtown can be discovered on foot.

We were in Vancouver to see a show at the Orpheum, the Moda Hotel is kitty corner to the theatre. It was great to get ready and just head across the street. The hotel is older but nicely updated and clean. They have photos old photos of Vancouver in the hallways. We were on the sixth floor, alley side; I didn't hear any outside noise. We were in a suite with a king size bed, a sitting area and bathroom. The bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. The sitting area was good for relaxing. We didn't get time to try out the tub but it was huge. I was sad the shower wouldn't switch from hand held to rain shower, but we were in Vancouver and it rained enough outside. I would stay here again.

The check in and out experience was fast and friendly. They offered accurate local info and parking solutions. The room was comfortable, clean and surprisingly, it was quiet and I slept like a baby. 3 styles of restaurant onsite was also very convenient. Opted for the sports bar and enjoyed it. Will return.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. We will forward these requests to the hotel; however, please note that the hotel may or may not be able to accommodate them depending on availability at the time of check-in. Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
