A perfect hotel with an amazing history. Every things inside and outside are stunning, with good taste. Standard room is compact, comfortable and very clean. Service is perfect. The breakfast is unforgettable rich and delicious! You will enjoy your staying there like in a museum. Hotel staff offered to upgrade the room for free considering my long staying but I still chose the standard one because it's much more comfortable. The location is in the center of the old historic town and very convenient. The hotel entrance is a little bit unobtrusive so you should be concentrate to avoid missing it .

nice old style feeling , but it has come to the point where facility is in need of better housekeeping, had issues with the shower no hot water , and it’s quite annoying the number of tourists or passer-by’s trying to enter the building as they think is some kind of public space . The rooms ar nice but need better cleaning , especially annoying that dirt under the bed and linen service was ignored .

Positive: Clean and big room. Good location. Negative: disappointing service level.Difficult to access of you have big luggage as there are a few staircases at the entrance and the bell boy will not help you. Breakfast is cold if you opt for the egg and sausage. The bathroom has no curtain and it can be seen from outside...(through the top window).

I write about this as a building, not a hotel. The story goes that this Swedish person, Moller, was rich and built this fantasy house to please his daughter. And it is fantastic, more like a Harry Potter place than anything else. I have visited it many times. If you go inside for a cup of tea or dinner, it is as fantastic inside as on the outside, and the garden as well. It is an oasis in Shanghai. Anders

Went there on a seminar. The place look cozy but the service is abit under average. The building is very beautiful and it I would be great to re visit and spend a night there.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
