        This hotel is right next to an expressway/highway with rooms facing the highway. Windows were not soundproof so you can hear all the traffic/motor through the night and early next morning. Room aircon was almost just as noisy. A good sleep was almost impossible. I don't know how other reviewers rated it as quiet given that all rooms face the expressway. Room decor was dated but ok. Came with washing machine and pantry area. The price is cheap but will not recommend unless you wear heavy duty ear plugs to sleep.

        Booked my stay via Agoda for 5 Jan 2024 to 8 Jan 2024. The address printed on the booking slip is wrong. Had to waste 200baht to hailed a taxi to the actual location. The hotel is not very accessible to eateries, shopping, pubs, MRT/BTS, etc. The nearest 7-11 also need about 15 mins walk. Only good thing is room consider clean but the bed not really. Gives you bumps and itch. We checked out the next day and switched to another hotel.

        It is reasonable to give this place top rank of a 2.5 star hotel due to is C/P value which included price per night, location, and service that provided. The location is bad for tourists but I assume it is okay for people who drive a car. There are TOPS, Big C and massages places around, but it is impossible for international travelers walk to there due to no sidewalk. Thus, must use taxi or motorbike. Remember, it is almost impossible for non-Thai speak to tell taxi driver the hotel address. The water is not hot at shower room and water pressure is bad. The perk is there is a wash machine which is useful.

        Do NOT book this Tourist Trap Hotel Do not be fooled by the high scores of this hotel on Google and Agoda. I am positive this hotel uses fake reviews into scamming international tourists to book here. For a supposed "4-star" hotel, - Does NOT have working shower, water is either too cold or too hot for human use. The entire hotel has the same water system so changing rooms will NOT help. - NOT near public transportation. No bus stops nearby and the nearest train station is 20 minutes away on foot. Taxis are unwilling to pick up at this hotel as well due to its bad location. - Far away from city center. Even if you manage to get to the train station, the trains are infrequent and take a long time to reach the center of Bangkok. - NOT quiet. It is near a major freeway, which has noisy cars passing by even after midnight. The hotel air-conditioning is too noisy even on normal settings, and disturbs sleep. - NOT clean. There is dust on the furniture, and more seriously dust and dirt on newly changed pillows and bedding, which causes allergies. - NOT secure. No security personel in the hotel and receptionists can even leave the hotel front door unattended for a long time, which gives thieves easy access to hotel rooms. The descriptions of this hotel on Agoda are fraudulent and fake, and the hotel owner does not offer any refunds even though they are fully aware of the issues the hotel has and the fake information they have provided. Avoid this scam hotel at all costs and put it out of business as soon as possible.

        The Montana is a very reasonably priced serviced apartment hotel located a little bit outside of the hustle and bustle of Sukhumvit and Watthana. The rooms are clean, tidy and well appointed. The service staff, especially their front desk manager Tomy, are all amazing. Rooms have a washing machine, air con, fridge and freezer, a television with one or two english channels, and they provide everything you need to cook simple meals. Monthly rates are available. Wifi is decent. This would suit a budget conscious business traveller or young couple very well. There is no pool, not much to do nearby, and the seven-eleven down the road is a bit of a precarious walk, so this is probably not a great spot for families with young kids. For everyone else, catching a grab or a motorbike taxi where you need to go is simple. The view from the rooms is nice, and most rooms have a balcony. I've attached photos.
