        Perfect stay. Attention to details is incredible at this place. Stunning rooms, comfortable bed & luxurious bathroom.Would love more light in the room & some more closet space, the rest is simply perfect. This place will make you happy to get up for breakfast. Whoever built this place made sure it feels like a perfect home.

        A dream of accommodation in the middle of a trendy district of Lisbon. Very stylish and cleanly furnished. The real highlight is the staff - friendly, attentive and very committed. The Brazilian cooker who prepares breakfast live should be highlighted - a real star. Recommendation: Have breakfast in the kitchen. Please also remember that this is a bed and breakfast - don't expect 24 hour reception or uninterrupted service. We will come again. Thank you very much for the wonderful days in your accommodation.

        Not worth the money! We spent over $350 Canadian per night, we stayed for 7 nights. It is very disappointing! We tried to look for a staff to speak about the issues, but we couldn’t find anybody. The place is relatively new, but low maintenance and not clean. Cleanliness is the key for a hotel. The room is not as clean and comfortable as I expected it would be. Also, very poor communication. We didn’t know the hotel would be unstaffed after 4pm. Since the day of our arrival, we asked for a clean drinking glass, as one of the glasses in the room has lipstick stain on it. We messaged and we emailed on our first 2 days, there’re no responses. We got a chance to spoke with a staff face to face on day 3 after breakfast. However , we still didn’t get a clean glass on the same day! We needed to look for the staff again on day 4 for the same ask, then we got a clean glass on day 4! Also, there are stains on the bedsheet and on the quilt cover. I understood minimalism, but there is no storage space at all in the room. There are 2 small racks, a few hangers, and 2 leather baskets under the bed, I supposed they work as drawers, however, the leather baskets are dusty and have hair inside. We don’t understand how the air conditioning works. It is cooler during day time, but warmer during night time. We turned it down to 20 degree Celsius, the room was still warm and we got sweaty. It just felt and sounded like the air conditioning is off or not blowing out cold air during the night. We always choose small luxury hotel when we travel, we had all wonderful cozy experiences in other places, but this place is displeasure, I won’t recommend this hotel to anybody.

        We had a very pleasant stay at Montecarmo 12. The rooms are very well designed and also very clean. A must for everyone interested in design and architecture. Also the service as well as the breakfast were outstanding. We had breakfast in a cool ambience while the chef was live-cooking in front of us. It is definitely a recommendation to book a stay at Montecarmo 12!

        Fantastic hotel with a fantastic location. Minimalistic contemporary high quality design. Peaceful. Great breakfast where you chooses options thru WhatsApp the day before. No staff during evening & nights. Could put a tea/coffee boiler possibility in the common area and the rooms.

          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.
