We enjoyed our stay on 9/13/23. Cute, chic hotel. The pool is pretty cool with the changing lights. Upon check-out (9/14), my mom forgot her hat. We forgot the name of the woman who helped us find the hat that morning. We got the hat! She was very caring and she gave us great service during check-out as well.

It was planned as a nice trip with our friends, which we wanted to spend together in the hotel Moxy. When we wanted to check in, we were told to wait a short time, they would take care of us right away. After waiting an hour & asking when we can check in, we were told that the hotel is unfortunately overbooked and we have to sleep somewhere else. After another hour, we were only told that our driver is now there & he would take us to our new hotel. This was done without telling us where we would be taken. Only on request the new "hotel" was shown to us. It was more like a youth hostel than a hotel. When we said we did not want to stay there, the man from the reception turned around and said then we just have bad luck and walked away. After a long unnecessary discussion we were brought to the hostel and had to pay more than originally for the Moxy Hotel. When we spoke to the manager the next day, we were assured he would help us later in the course of time & compensate us. Unfortunately that hasn't happened to date, we were given cheap put off offers & on further inquiry we didn't get an answer either. I am very disappointed that mistakes are simply not acknowledged and that gives no value to its customers. I can not recommend a stay nor the service. Addition: 2 out of 6 people were taken to the other hostel, we were separated from our friends, we were also accommodated a bit outside the center which is why we always had to take the train to get to the other public transportation, that's why we always had additional costs

Overall a nice hotel, good location, small but nice spa as well as fitness and other spare time options like Billard. However, the breakfast is insanely expensive for what you get. I had breakfast in the city center of Amsterdam which was equal or half the price and 100 times better. Also the food quality was low considering the price. Moreover, stuff which is supposed to be warm was cold (beans, pancakes) and the cheese looked like it lay in the air for days and also tasted like that. Last thing was the cleaning quality. Room service every day for refreshing the room was good but as visible in the picture the cleaning quality could be improved.

Generally a nice and modern hotel with many activities offered and a welcoming atmosphere. Rooms are okay and offer a nice view but should definitely be cleaner (i.e. modernised). Our room had mold in the bathroom, stains on the ceiling and carpet. Breakfast is quite expensive for what is offered; it’s cheaper to eat out in a nice Amsterdam café. The pool and gym are great, the sauna could be warmer but is also really nice. Given that these are included, the prices for the rooms are okay. Commute into the city centre is good and quick. The hotel’s location is quite nice, right by the old harbour.

Extremely rude and poor customer service from hotel management. No one bothers to answer calls and texts. Made us wait for more than an hour for a check in even when we requested an early check-in in advance and refused to provide the complimentary drink that the Moxy hotels so proudly brag about. Never again staying at a Moxy hotel. I believe they are trying to promote a hostel culture/vibe and so are very OK with offering poor customer services and low expectations. Also disappointed with Marriott for offering Moxy under their belt and deceiving their loyal members.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
