        We stayed here for 3 nights. We had tons of trash, but there was no trash can at lobby. I emailed staff about cleaning up, they said it will be 2,000 yen for cleaning fee. We just need a new trash bag. The policy said clean every day 3 , we are here 4 days. No one cleaning up 😞 Disappointed ☹️

        The hotel is just across AEON mall and approx. 11 mins. walk to Kyoto station. The location is very ideal for travelers. The room is bigger compared to most hotels in Tokyo, but cleanliness could be improved.

        We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights in April. It's well located near Kyoto station (7min), Daiso, breakfast eateries like Yoshinoya (2-4min) and Aeon (2min) mall, new, modern, clean and quite roomy given its very good rates. Although there wasn't always a staff member on duty, one was always a phone call away. There are shared amenities that are well maintained too. Once when our laundry was stuck in the washing machine at midnight, a young staff, Ota, was very helpful. For its price, we think M's Hotel K S Kasuga , is a very good deal.

        Excellent value! I kept on extending my stay here with new reservations as I continued to explore Kyoto and the surrounding area. Location is prime. A 9-min walk to Kyoto station. Hotel is across the street from the mall which has a big supermarket and plenty of restaurants. Clean room and bathroom. Washer and dryer combo is available, so laundry is done in one go. Only minor annoyances were the 10am checkout time and the microwave being on the 1st floor.

        Near to Kyoto station. Cross the road/street and you can get into Aeon mall where you can shop for cosmetic, clothes, toys, food court/hall, super market, etc. So no need to worry for food or fruits or cosmetic , etc. Highly recommend but make sure you didn't get the room close to reception (1st/ground floor). The smoking room is just behind the reception. For nonsmoker to walk pass through that cigarettes smoke, I don't like it, I would prefer second floor onwards. Contactless self checkin, checkout system. All digital room lock and main entrance. Behind this hotel, there is a small park with kids playground with a few Sakura trees (low hangings branches). We were lucky enough to caught on time with early Sakura flowers blossom.
