        Location is fantastic and rooms are spacious for the area - but the limited reception hours make it difficult to get in. There's an app they email you that helps you get into the building, but it's dependent on them pushing access from their end so you can get in. Problem is, they don't monitor it after hours, so you end up getting to the front door, locked out, and have to call their phone number to get in. Whoever was helping us didn't seem very tech savvy, because when I called to say the app wasn't working, she decided to send out a staff member from another hotel to physically let us in (which ended up taking an hour from the time we arrived), when all she had to do was push the app access from her side to my phone. We waited in the street with our bags for an hour, and when the staff member arrived, his master key didn't even work - we had to get other guests to let us into the building as they were entering. After we were let in by others, the receptionist figured out how to push access to my phone through their app. The app also only works on one phone - so if you have 2 or more people staying with you, you better all stick together because as soon as someone else tries to download the app and login, it signs the original device out and you have to go through the process of calling reception to push access all over again (still to one person only). We ended up being 20min late to our dinner reservation and frustrated. Which is unfortunate because if the checkin process was better here, we'd likely return.

        As a couple, we stayed for 4 nights. Everything was fine and very very clean. The beds were amazing and very comfortable for a good sleep. The staff was helpful and very kind. The best thing about this hotel is the location. The location is amazing and near everything you would want to do in the city. Our fridge was a bit noisy. That's our only complain.         The room itself is big and comfortable, as can be expected from a suite hotel. However, reception has limited hours, so if you need anything after hours, you have to call them. The drain in the shower was super slow. After we complained, maintenance came and fix it. Problem was that the drain became slow again after a day, with nothing that can be done. Breakfast is served to the room, not before 8:45. It's a bit hard to plan a day in advance when you can't control the time you eat. From amenities point of view, the toilet paper was very thin and not easy to use. No tissue available to use as well. The soap in the shower was very low quality. No lotion, shampoo or conditioner. There was no wardrobe, only hanging bars, which were comfortable for only part of our clothes. The safe is small and located in a very inaccessible location. The staff was kind and the location was very good for us.

        Will I come back? Probably... there are definitely things that I like but some parts I don't like and will like to see improve before deciding to come back. On the Pros, - Location. Located in a quiet residential alley within the lively Bairro Alto area so very close to Chiaro area, you are but minutes away from restaurants and bars. But yet, you do not get the noise from the streets. - Front desk, particularly Rita. Super professional, friendly and helpful - Private garden within the apartments, which is just so beautify. Great IG spot! Now, onto the Cons - Limited reception hours (only till 4PM) with a horrible access key system. You are recommended to log in and check-in via a mobile app which allows you to access your apartment via your phone, but what was not mentioned is that it de-activates all your physical access cards and checking in via the app does not necessarily mean that you get the 'e-key' unless IT verified that your room is 'ready'. This remote access key system truly needs to be fixed for a better customer experience - Maintenance of the room can be improved. Overall, room is clean but there are small stuff such as the shower's drainage being prone to flooding.
