Very bad hotel..they asked me to cancel the room. Once I arrived. The said I can place my luggage and they will charge all of my things but they have no rooms for us. When I contacted agoda they said it is still valid.. and asked me to validate again payments. When I revalidated they said my booking has been cancelled. After reading the review I think it is all a big scam. Don't ever book this place. I think all reservations platform should ban this property. Really ruined my holiday as I have to find another hotel .

I typically do not leave reviews, but my partner and I had a terrible experience with Namsan Forest in Myeongdong. Despite making a reservation a month in advance, we received a notification upon arrival in Korea that the hotel did not have room to accommodate us. What made matters worse was the hotel's unprofessional attitude towards the situation. Rather than finding a solution, they immediately tried to invalidate our payment method. We knew that our payment method was valid because it had worked for the other accommodations we had booked before and after our stay at Namsan Forest. Overall, our experience with Namsan Forest was extremely disappointing. We would advise anyone looking for a stress-free and enjoyable stay in Seoul to steer clear of this hotel.

Although the location is great, this is the worst hotel experience I ever had. If you value your sleep, don't stay here. The walls and doors are thin. Most nights that I was there, I could clearly hear my neighbors talk and laugh until 2-3am (probably only slept 3-4 hours a night). The internet is slow and spotty. Frequently gets disconnected. Communication with host is average. Sometimes response is within 10 minutes. Sometimes, I get no response.

I would strongly advise against staying at Namsan Forest in Myeongdong. My experience with this hotel was nothing short of terrible. Firstly, upon arrival in Seoul, I received a notification that the hotel did not have room to accommodate me. This was extremely frustrating, especially as I had made my reservation over 3 months in advance. Instead of waiting for a reply, the hotel immediately tried to invalidate my payment method. I am certain that my payment method was valid, as it had worked perfectly fine for the other accommodations I had stayed at immediately before and after my stay at Namsan Forest. This seems to be a dishonest deceptive tactic to force a cancellation. The way the hotel handled this situation was incredibly unprofessional, and the extra amount of stress and frustration that this caused was completely unnecessary. I would strongly advise anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy hotel in Myeongdong to steer clear of Namsan Forest.

Such a cute little place! We checked in late, but it worked out fine with the self check in! Rooms were lovely. Small towels. Bathroom had that shower head that just sprays onto the floor. Rooms weren’t amazing, but we were only staying one night.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
