        Stayed in a number of the NATIVE properties previously and had great experience. I recently stayed at the NATIVE Hyde Park and was extremely disappointed with my experience. The hotel was in a state of disrepair, with poor maintenance and cleanliness. The room had outdated decor and furnishings, with a single dusty/dirty fan. The hot water went on arrival and didn't come back on until late into the following evening meaning there was no shower facilities. Staff were slow to respond. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and would advise them to look elsewhere for accommodations.

        The hotel is not clean and the dust is all over the room , besides I found an insect on the bed and when I asked for changing the apartment they got me a new one but again I found the same insect in the ceiling. The manager was not helpful at all and acted like the problem is not a big deal and I’m overreacting. They rejected to refund me the full amount because she believed that a “fly” is not a good reason to cancel my reservation and she charged me almost two nights when I even did not stay there for a night and had to book another hotel in the same day. I checked in and out in the one day! However, absolutely not recommend it for anyone. Really poor experience. Do not waste your money and time!

        Not a great stay overall. On the plus side, it’s a good central location in a nice area near Paddington and Hyde Park. The staff tried to be helpful in the face of numerous justified complaints from different guests. Our apartment was in the lower ground floor so natural light was scarce. The furnishings were tired and often marked, eg the paintwork was scratched and bathroom fittings damaged. Two out of three TVs didn’t work, staff were unable to resolve this. The breakfast was the low point for me: it consisted of a tub of porridge and one of those little cartons of orange juice we used to get in our lunchboxes as kids. When I explained to the member of staff I couldn’t eat the porridge as it contained almonds and would put me at risk of a life threatening allergic reaction he was sympathetic but unable to provide an alternative. One to avoid.
