From the moment I stepped onto the property, I felt a genuine hug! I have never connected with a hotel staff like I have with the team at Neighbourgood Hill. I truly felt at home and I can honestly say I now have a family at the Hill! I love the location and the charmed appointments. The personal touch of the handwritten welcome note with the reuseable branded linen cloth shopping bag is classy and emphasizes the environmental awareness. Although the room without heat was a bit cold for me coming being from the tropics, the geninune warmth of the staff led by Sam made up for the little chill. So much so that during my split visits to Cape Town, I cancelled my stay at another hotel to return to the Hill. Thank you Sam, Pam, Lisa, Thandeka and Andisiwe. You are all not only true professionals, but warm, loving and caring souls. Thank you for embracing me, a solo traveler visiting South Africa for the first time, like family. I will be back ... promise ... and without hesitation recommend Neighbourgood Hill!

The fact that we as black people offend the other people just because we're chatting means we're making noise. We just braaied and went back in to chat and now we're told that we're making noise and that is so not nice but it's cool. Coz we can't do anything not even sneeze because they saying that we're making noise Sorry for spending our money just to distract people who have more money than us

Rooms are not at all as depicted. Most are half the size and without cupboards or desks, and made in very temporary style structures. Be careful booking here, as you are very unlikely to get your money back

Great place to stay for a month or more with convenient Nourished Cafe at your doorstep and coworking throughout the property. With Virgin Active, Green Point Park and the promenade within walking distance, the location is perfect. Highly recommend for remote workers looking for a community vibe and place to feel at home. Short term stay is also cool but as someone staying longer term, the more longer term people staying, the better the vibe 🤙
