Loved it!! One of my favourite hostels so far. First stayed in a mixed dorm and then female dorm (due to space). The hostel is located in a very friendly and active area, with many restaurant, bars, supermarkets… also you are very close to Lion’s Head and Table Mountain if you feel like hiking. Then the hostel is very well designed, with a nice courtyard at the back where the guests can relax, and enjoy their food after making use of the very well equipped kitchen. If you don’t feel like cooking, there’s a restaurant just outside of the hostel that serves simple pizzas and sandwiches. Also a great place to hangout during the day or evening. And finally, the staff and the guests are all super friendly, and it is very easy to organise activities.

I had a private room which was small but very clean and comfortable. Never @ Home (Kloof Street) is great for adventure travel mixed with city life. It’s located in a busy area with great night life, music, great dining and drinks. Walking distance to grocery store, postal store, Starbucks and other necessary places. Uber to V&A Waterfront for about 65 Rand. Staff was very friendly. I especially enjoyed talking with one particular young lady who has the sweetest smile and personality (I’ll just call her N for her safety). She always took the time to ask how my day was going and what I had discovered in the city. She added real charm to the place. Warning for those that don’t like the night life: it can be loud here on Friday and Saturday night. Music and voices…people having fun. Personally I liked the activity. People were really living and I just fell asleep to the sounds of youth having a good time. While my room was private, it’s a hostel setting so there are dorm rooms shared with other travelers. There was a communal kitchen with cold and dry food storage areas for in-house guests, as well as nice sitting areas to eat or relax. Cool place. Great vibe. Convenient to so much. Made me feel young and alive again! Travel Safe - Live Intrepid!

Great hostel, best part is the staff and facilities. Expect it to be a little loud untill 10pm, music and noise quites down afterwards. We stayed here for 4 days and liked it a lot. Everything is clean and well organized. The location is great, you can walk into the city center but are not in a too crowded area. A shopping mall 2 minutes walking away. They also have a local little restaurant with nice food and drinks.

Stayed at this location for 3 nights and enjoyed it! We chose the private room with city view. The room was clean, spacious, and with a comfy king bed. There is a ceiling fan, kettle, coffee and tea. A huge shout out to the staff! They were all amazing! Everyone was incredibly helpful and hospitable. There is a restaurant and bar below that plays great music. We loved singing in our room to what was playing outside. Don’t worry, the music will not carry on late in the evening. We closed our windows and that was good enough to muffle the noise. The hostel has activities throughout the week, they sell SIM cards, and have tickets for the hop on hop off bus. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back again! Thank you to everyone there!

was very expensive for a private room (more than most nearby hotels) yet was only a little fan, that wasn’t over bed and the room was so hot (day and night). bathroom door doesn’t close from outside so noise from outside comes in all the time … and it’s super loud thanks to their bar and then just general road noise. had the worst sleeps , not to mention they don’t have a generator (like most hostels and hotels in are) so for four hours each evening was in total darkness, very very hot room … with no wifi. yet the bar was still pumping out music … really disappointing. could have been nice if air con (or more air flow/ better fans/ less noise). On positive note, had good activities and location for exploring town.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. We will forward these requests to the hotel; however, please note that the hotel may or may not be able to accommodate them depending on availability at the time of check-in. Please be aware that fulfilling these requests may result in additional charges.

The hotel reserves the right of admission. The hotel may refuse to honour the booking if it determines that the property policies have been violated.

If the booking cannot be confirmed due to certain circumstances, Adani One will refund the entire amount to the original mode of payment.

If the hotel is unable to confirm or deny the booking, Adani One is not under any obligation to provide an alternate booking in lieu of the unconfirmed booking.

Adani One does not collect GSTIN details on behalf of the hotelier, you may request this information directly from the hotelier during the check-in process.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
