We cannot recommend this hotel enough. Apart from having a cool and beautiful vibe/ aesthetic the bakery, restaurant and rooftop bar are not be missed. My wife and I spent 11 nights here and due to a back injury during our trip, we ended up having to spend a LOT of time at the hotel. Luckily this hotel made a difficult situation a million times easier. Since we couldn't really walk to restaurants we ended up eating at the hotel restaurant a lot and each time it was AMAZING. The food was incredible and even if you aren't staying at the hotel, the restaurant should still make it on your list of places to eat in Kyoto. The rooftop bar had a great vibe and the bakery with fresh baked goods made every morning was a life saver, (do yourself a favor and get one of the cubed milk breads - trust me). The location is pretty central – you are only a 10-15 minute walk from big tourist areas. The rooms were nice and comfortable but it was the helpfulness of the staff that we really appreciated. The staff recommended us a hospital to go to and moved us to a room that was handicapped accessible and were beyond accommodating. If you are thinking of booking here, do it. You won't regret it.

This was the best hotel in our entire stay in Japan. The rooms were very spacious and quiet. The location to temples, shopping, and tourist destinations is fantastic. A 10 minute walk will get you in front of some amazing sights. The restaurant in house was phenomenal. A blend of Japanese ingredients in various dishes made for a delicious meal. The staff were polite and helpful. They even held our luggage for multiple hours after checkout while we did some sight-seeing. Overall the stay was expensive, but worth every penny.

Finally, a true 4 star hotel in Japan, with decent access to local attractions. Comfortable and fluffy feather blankets and pillows to compliment an actual comfortable bed, lots of room, huge, modern bathroom with a great upscale shower and tub area. Real multi-ply toilet paper. Decent price. If the rooms had their own microwave, or at least access on one of the floors (you have to ask the front desk to use the microwave as it stands), this hotel would be perfect. Walls are actually soundproofed. Lobby is nice and modern, staff are attentive and helpful, with many skilled English speaking staff. When I travel, I want to have something comparable to what I have at home, and this hotel didn't disappoint! Looking forward to finishing out my stay here and this makes me excited to check in to their Akihabara location!

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights in Kyoto. The hotel itself has a really night design and they have a very consistent scent throughout the space and the items in the room. The shower was amazing rain fall head and one of the best we had in Japan. The rooms itself could have used a bit more design to fit the lobby and rooftop but overall the rooms sizes was great and the hotel itself felt more luxurious than some are other stays in Japan. Location wise it felt a bit dead it’s in between two spots to visits. When we go back I would stay on the other side of the river as we felt like we spent more time over there and more nightlife. But overall really nice experience and fits the boutique hotel style we are looking for! Would recommend!

We had a great stay here. The location is quite convenient. It was close to the bus stop and to the subway. The rooms were a good size, the beds were comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. There was also a cafe that served amazing pastries in the morning. I would definitely stay here again.

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
