        Room was fitted with a tv which at best was 10 inches, probably from the early 2000s which didn’t actually work, bed springs were horrible and made excessive noise with any movement. one of the bedside lights didn’t have a bulb or shade and the other was hanging off of the wall. Most of the floor tiles in the bathroom were cracked, the shower lever didn’t hold itself in place when turned on so had to be held and the shower itself is barely big enough to accommodate one person. Furniture and decor is severely dated and in desperate need of some TLC. DO NOT STAY HERE, shocking gaff.

        During our 6-night stay in London as a couple, our hotel experience was a source of great frustration. The faulty mattress and persistent sewer smell throughout the room seriously compromised our comfort. The constant vacuum noise, thin walls allowing us to hear our neighbors, and the lack of tranquility fueled our anger. Neglected cleanliness, with unrenewed bath linens, insufficient shower gel and shampoo samples, and the presence of gnats in the shower drain, along with hair and hair in the shower tray, added to our discontent. The unstable headboard was an additional nuisance. The unhooked curtains and the absence of shutters compromised our sleep, exposing us to early morning light. However, the pinnacle of our frustration was the discovery of a cockroach on the bed upon waking up, turning our vacation into a far-from-pleasant experience. We chose these holidays for relaxation, not to face such issues. Don't make the same mistake as us; opt for pricier hotels, at least you won't have unpleasant surprises like we did. The only positive aspect was that we were conveniently located next to transportation options.

        Honestly go to a hostel before this place. The health code service people need to come visit. Extremely dirty in every room and hallway. I arrived to my room and there was dirt and gunk in my bedsheets, there was mold on the walls and in the bathroom, and lights and parts of the furniture were falling apart. Disgusting carpet through the whole ‘hotel’. After first seeing my room and its complete mess, I went back to reception and asked for a refund so i could find literally anywhere else. They said they would not refund but offered to give me a separate room. My new room was barely a step up. Still mold in the bathroom, everything falling apart and dirt everywhere. In the stairway, the windows had been broken and unfixed. Every employee I talked to had an attitude of not really caring and finding my complaints a normal situation for them. Radiator didn’t work. And to top all of it off, BED BUGS. Don’t stay here. Hostels are wayyy better and that’s saying a lot. I’m not extremely picky as I travel Europe and UK a lot and have seen some rough rooms. This was the worst.

        We really enjoyed our stay here. The reviews of this place were awful so I had low expectations but honestly this place is absolutely fine! The location was great, the room was small but clean enough, shower was a little finicky to figure out but worked fine with plenty of hot water. Bedding and towels and everything were clean. Staff was helpful and check in/check out was smooth. Location was extremely convenient for using the train and bus to get around, and felt safe/quiet. There was a damp smell in the stairwell but that was my only complaint. Obviously not The Ritz, but for the price, this was perfectly good for our trip.

        Worst place to stay in London. We booked a room for 2 days in this hotel and the experience was horrible. The room had a broken bed, no ventilation and webs in the ceiling. The room was fuming tbh. Before heading out asked the day receptionist if they could provide us a fan we also said we are ready to pay more. He said it’s fine he’ll note it down and let the night receptionist know. Came back asked the night receptionist about fan and he said “we don’t have any fan left, you come tomorrow and speak to the manager if you want to”. I asked him what about that night and he said he don’t know. After changing our way of speaking he got us a fan full of white and brown dust. The floors were also dirty. Wouldn’t suggest it to anyone. We had checkout the same day of check in and had to go to another hotel.
