The hotel itself was fine--a 20-min tram ride from the centre of town and not in an overly lovely area, but clean and comfortable. I did not take the breakfast or have dinner here, so I cannot comment on the food. However, the reason for my overall rating is the staff. Even when short staffed relative to the number of customers, they were as helpful and attentive as staff at any 5-star hotel I've visited, which was highly appreciated, because I had an unusually large number of needs during this stay. Tom in particular went way above and beyond the call of duty. He helped me track down and eventually receive an important package that took a frustratingly long journey from the US to Bordeaux (where it was originally supposed to be delivered) to my apartment in Belgium. His regular check-ins with me and his persistence in following up with UPS in France--for a several weeks after I had checked out!--helped me keep my sanity and allowed me to keep my attention on my work, which was an incredible relief.

Service was so indifferent. Reception, bar one lady with glasses, was totally unfriendly. Bar staff aren’t interested in giving service. The hotel is nice, and just off a tram line so great location, but I’d be shy about returning due to the total indifference from the majority of staff. It’s so prevalent, it must come from the top down. Shame really

The hotel is showing its age. The dinner was overpriced for the amount of food and unfriendly service. The breakfast was so crowded that it was chaotic. They knew that we were 3 but they didn’t set up the sofa bed or put third set of towels. If you need a huge and safe car park (open), a dog friendly hotel and just there for a night, then it is okay. Otherwise I would keep on looking as there are few other hotels around.

I'm changing my reviews, Tom, the manager is lovely guy he made our stay much easier with the rest of the reception staff (Amazing people) during my stay I've see great improvements but still far from excellent as (not 4 start rank) I believe staff in *restaurants require big support and hospitality course. *Pool it's finally it's getting a little better. Food - is not fresh for sure, I wish use your great location and cut the trees infron of the pool and replace the ugly wire fence with glass to enjoy the view. *Last few days music is been played in the sitting area which made a great atmosphere. *hotel - need a measure improvement, room renovation. ( I still don't understand why bathroom is away from the sink) *Bathroom & shower room - keep make noises and flood when shower. Thank you.

Great hotel on the lake at the edge of Bordeaux. There is a tram stop minutes away that takes you in to the centre of Bordeaux. There is a public beach on one edge of the lake that is easily accessible. The bar is well stocked and the food is pretty good. Some of the staff were a little lacking in helpfulness but on the whole the staff were really good, really helpful and generally nice people. If I travel this way again I’d stay here again.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
