        Great location in between station and town centre. It was fabulous having a mini fridge in the room and the breakfast was very good. We usually stay at the Premier Inn but I would definitely look at the Novotel again if it was not too much more

        I went to this hotel with my partner. The room was big enough for two people. Very good level of cleanliness and hygiene. The reception staff was kind and they kept our luggage in the store room for half a day which was helpful. In regard to the position: the hotel is very close to Temple Meads station, which was important for me as Bristol was an intermediate stop to my final destination (Plymouth). It's 10-15 minutes walking distance from the main touristic areas of the city (for exactly harbour, cathedral), so that's something to bear in mind.

        We booked on the website, the communication was correct and fair. We chose the hotel because of its location. Really, everything was absolutely easily accessible on foot, and there were also bus stops at the hotel. If you arrive by car, there are parking place. It was so great that we could leave our suitcases in a safe room until we could occupy the rooms and we loved the check-out at 12. The room is spacious, clean and bed was very comfortable. But there were not enough shelves and/or drawers in the room and the shelves next to the bed was very small. Also, it would be better if in the bathroom there had a hook for wet and hand towels, and we also missed a toilet brush. However, it was a bit cold in the rooms, we mentioned it at the reception. We didn't really guess what should have been done to make our rooms warmer. We were satisfied with the breakfast: it was delicious, a wide selection of food and coffee, tea, etc. Maybe there could have been some fresh vegetables, e.g. peppers, tomatoes. We liked the hall and the bar. Unfortunately, some smaller things that reduced our sense of comfort: Although the hotel was very clean, the carpets and the bathroom seemed to be a little bit shabby. Most of the staff were very nice, friendly and helpful (especially at the reception). All in all, this hotel was definitely suitable for us, if we come back we might book here again.

        Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the 4-star hotel. The room service was exceptional, with prompt and courteous staff attending to every need. The overall experience exceeded my expectations, making my visit truly memorable. Definitely recommend

        Hotel in great location and staff were lovely however the room was in desperate need of an upgrade and it was disgustingly unclean sadly as you’ll see from the photos. Thick with dust, white powder all down the side of the bed, toothpaste marks all over tap/sink and a lot of general mould in bathroom. The bed was also broken so extremely creaky and squeaky every time I moved which made for an interrupted sleep. There was also nowhere quiet to work outwith the room. No quieter working spaces at all so not ideal if going away on business. Seems odd as other reviews don’t seem to reflect my experience so maybe I was unlucky however I would not stay here again or recommend it as at over £120 for one night, I’d expect far better.
