We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Room was clean. The mini fridge was empty which was good. Rather than precious space taken up by pricey snack that we would never consume, we had all the space for our grocery from the supermarket. Checking in and out were hassle free. We had not tried the gym though because it was being renovated during our stay. We had also not tried the restaurant because there were so many better alternatives nearby. What I liked most was its location because the hotel was within 1 min's walk from the Wynyard Station where we had easy access to train, light rail, and buses.

Rooms and the room service was okay. But the staff - specially Rocky was wonderful. Thusara also looked after us very well. Girls @ the reception were always smiling and helpful. Great location - very close to all the transport and Darling Harbour.

I recently stayed at Novotel Wynyard for one night due to work, and my overall experience was a mix of positives and drawbacks. The hotel's location is fantastic, offering a short and convenient walk to Barrangaroo. However, the pillows provided were notably thick/high, more suitable for sitting up and watching TV than for a comfortable night's sleep. This left me with a slightly sore neck. On the bright side, the beds were comfortable, falling between medium to firm, providing a satisfying rest despite the pillow issue. It's worth mentioning that if you opt for a connecting room, be prepared to hear everything happening next door. One standout feature was the self-check-in process, which was incredibly easy and fast. If you don't mind skipping human interaction and simply want your room key, this option is highly recommended. The Novotel Wynyard offers a convenient location, comfortable beds, and efficient self-check-in, but potential guests should be aware of the pillow thickness and the potential for noise in connecting rooms.
