This hotel goes above and beyond in their service. From the bellmen to the front reception and the housekeepers, we never once were greeted with anything less than a smile. We stayed for 5 days (Mon-Sat) in celebration of a birthday. The decorated our room superbly and made it a memorable experience for all parties involved. Every request and expectation made of the staff and the hotel were absolutely exceeded. I spent 15 years working in the hotel industry for a leading company and have never been more impressed with a staff than I was during our stay. Keep doing the good work, folks! And if you want a unique boutique hotel experience--st at the O'two hotel!!!

This hotel is in a perfect location with great views and perfect service. I will offer these constructive criticisms. The fragrance generators i. the lobby and hall are overwhelming. A nice scent can be pleasant but I found it overwhelming and blew out the intense in my room. I am not particularly sensitive to smells but this was too much for me. Second- and this was annoying- the hair dryer provided by the hotel did not plug in to the outlets in the bathroom. There are two kinds of outlets in the room so I tried plugging it i. where the coffee maker plugs in but there is no mirror. Reception came up with an adaptor and that didn’t work. I had to ask twice for an extension cord so I could look in a mirror to dry my hair. Can’t believe this is a problem they can’t easily fix. Last- a bit of a design flaw i. the showers and the balcony there is a gutter to collect water. It’s very clean cut and stylish— until you step in it and trip. Also keep in mind there is room service but the food comes from the restaurant next door. The hotel is beautiful and modern and the pool deck is flat out gorgeous. Also, as I mentioned the service is outstanding. Just some things to keep in mind as you build your extension next door.

I loved my stay at this hotel. The staff were absolutely incredible and the views from my room were worth every rand spent. The pool was beautiful and the food was amazing. I’m definitely coming back on my next visit to Cape Town. It has truly felt like home away from home.

Pros - Staff were great, very professional and helpful. - Free car parking which is helpful. - Laundry service for an additional fee available. We used the service and it was super quick and well done. Cons - Bathroom design is very poor. The toilet in the room we stayed in is essentially a glass cube next to the bed. Not super romantic when staying on your honeymoon and disruptive when needing to go to the bathroom in the night to put the light on. Would suggest a frosted glass panel is added between the bathroom area and bed for extra privacy if possible. - Poor view if room is located on the side of the building. You're overlooking the hotel next door as opposed to the mountains or ocean. Again not great when getting out the shower cubicle within the room, as similar to toilet, this is also a glass cube within the room so you have to ensure the curtains are shut all the time. This was most frustrating given the price of this hotel. Plus the ongoing construction either side of the hotel was a little disruptive. - No onsite catering, however Lily's just next door is fabulous. The drinks on the hotels roof top bar are a little pricy.
