        The hotel is great. The room was overall very comfortable, clean, and extremely convenient being located right at Novena Square 2 and Velocity, as well as right over the MRT. The staff is great. One thing to note that there are a series of small maintenance repairs that would have made the rooms perfect, but did not significantly impact the experience overall.

        Despite we are late arrive around 3.30pm, but room still take time to check, is not well prepared. Room is time to renovation. Not provided drinking water, need for making milk for baby, when call concierge counter to check, surprise they just tell we can direct take from tape water. Overall experience not as fantastic as Downtown outlet.

        The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel is in a very convenient spot for getting around the central areas of the city - there is an underground connection to the Novena MRT straight from the hotel elevators. The nearby mall has some good food options for breakfast and lunch.

        Stayed in Dec 2023 for 6 nights Pros: -Jennifer who was the night staff was very nice. shoutout to the staff here. -shower is amazing. good rain shower with lots of hot water pressure. it's also separated from the rest of the bathroom with a sliding glass door. -housekeeping staff are great, they deserve a shout out. they clean, replenish and tidy up the room to a great standard. -have a pool that closes at 10pm -there's also a jacuzzi and sauna and gym -bed is comfortable -there's a sitting ledge area near the windows -comfortable desk chair with back support. -tissues provided. -walking distance to mrt station (direct access to the mall and not a far walk from novena train station also, down to basement 3), supermarket and malls, so lots of food options. -good soundproofing because i didn't hear any ambulance sounds even though you are close to a hospital. -breakfast can be provided at lower fee if you are the guest of a hotel Overall rating 4.7/5 Cons: -internet wifi speed is slow...speed tested multiple times and it varies from 3.8mbps to 7.8mbps...even though they told me the max speed is 20mbps. they said they will send someone but even after that day, the speed was the same. -they only have plug on one side of the bed. it would of been good to have it on both sides of the bed. -elevators are a bit slow for a busy hotel. -they don't give bottled water because they say you can drink Singapore's water but the problem with that is I don't like the taste of the tap water in Singapore so I feel like guests should be given a choice whether they want bottled water or not. I feel it is a cop out explaining it away as saving the environment. -toilet bowl is a bit high. I had to put the weight scale and wooden tray on the ground to feel comfortable sitting on the toilet, otherwise my thighs are pointing downwards. If you are over 180cm in height, you'd probably have no issue. -while the pool closes at 10pm, the problem at night is the pool isn't lit up at all. no lights for safety. -there isn't a powerpoint in the bathroom so you can't use the hairdryer in the bathroom. -remote control for the tv was flooded with water when we first checked in which was a bit strange. They eventually did change the remote control.

        Clean and convenient location but except for the lady with the glasses who offered some dining recommendations when I checked in, the other concierge staff seemed disinterested, zoned out and not present. This gave the impression they were not very friendly or skipped customer service training. The was particularly the case when I went to check out at the front desk where there were 3 staff who were all seemingly preoccupied with work most likely but without any customers being attended to. I approach them but no one looked up to greet me nor ask me to please wait a moment. So I just stood there awkwardly. It seems like it was a contest of ‘chicken’ to see who would be the first to cave in and acknowledge me. The other gripe I have is the facilities were lacking for common area or main lounge to hangout, especially as I wanted to watch a movie at nighttime without disturbing my family while they were asleep. The only facility was a dark small ‘Verandah Lounge’ on level 8 next to the gym where hotel guest could unwind. This is an inadequate space especially if you have large groups of people looking to gather and chat. Finally their internet speeds are disappointing slow. My room registered under 6Mbps downloads while the main lobby had around 12Mbps
