Easily one of the nicest city hotels we have ever stayed in. The staff are so accommodating, friendly and would bend over backwards for you 🤍 The area the hotel is in is so lovely! I think I prefer it to the more central areas, you feel really safe while walking around, despite how busy it gets. There’s some really nice bars located near the hotel and restaurants that are certainly worth checking out! The rooftop bar is GORGEOUS! The drinks are SO lovely but my lord they are strong 🤣🥰 the rooms are so beautiful too, me and my partner went during the Spanish heatwave and the air con was unbelievably good! Kept us bloody cool alright 🤣🤍 Thankyou Hotel occidental 1929 for making mine and my partners stay so special! X

This hotel is located just steps away from Plaza Espanya close to the metro, buses, taxis and airport shuttle stop. The hotel is modern and clean. Front desk staff were friendly. We were assigned a handicap room even though we did not requested one. Our room was spacious and although it was facing the busy front street it was very quiet. There is a chair and a tiny table but I wished the table were bigger. The kettle and coffee station took 1/3 of the space so we hardly had any space left for our things. There was also no luggage rack which made it a bit inconvenient to open our luggage. We had issues setting up the code for the safety box and gave up after many attempts. We were disappointed that the access to the rooftop was closed. Even with the rooftop bar closed it would have been nice if guests could at least enjoy the day/night view from the top. This was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. Even with these small inconveniences we still enjoyed our stay and might consider coming back in the future.

Super hotel discovered during a business trip, very pleasant room, welcoming lobby, tables for working in the lobby/bar area. Varied and copious breakfast. Roof top, gym... An interesting address to keep for the quality/price ratio.

The Hotel Occidental Barcelona is very well located only a few meters from the metro station in Placa d'Espanya. Rooms are of decent size with tea and coffee and toiletries provided. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. There is a rooftop bar and pool available in the summer, and a gym available all year round. Decent breakfast available at a reasonable price. Have stayed here twice and not been disappointed.

Room service and reception really needs improved. The coffee tea We're not top up on the second day. Shower gel is empty. Reception is not friendly when we complain. Room top space is amazing, love the swing

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
