Definitely not 4 stars but it is an excellent example of what happens when you don’t maintain your hotel. When this place opened, it was great. Fast forward a few years and we have sweltering rooms, dirty and shabby common areas, stains everywhere, broken doors, smelly towels, no room amenities, blocked showers, an extremely basic breakfast for a whopping price (expect foul coffee from a machine, poor quality food and no toaster), rats in the restaurant and very unhelpful staff.

The reception desk staff was very polite and accommodating. I was given my card and vent to my room. The carpet on the floor in the halfway was a bit dirty but nothing terrible. The hotel is easy to navigate. Overall, I had an OK stay and can recommand this hotel if you are going for a business trip. The only couple of things what I really did not like were the paper/plastic cups, the wooden stirrers, and tee bags without package in rooms. I am not sure who decided that single - use cups would be better than glass or that spoons are not necessary, but it was the worst decision ever.

This is my second stay at the Olympic, we stayed here last year and I'm so disappointed the second time around. First lets start with the greeting. The girl at the front desk who greeted me was downright dismissive and acted as if i was bothering her with my mere presence. I booked a silver room and was originally given a room with no canal view or stadium view. Went back down to the lobby and thankfully dealt with a much nicer staff member who rectified the situation. She also explained that the silver rooms are not guaranteed to have canal or stadium view despite it saying so on the website. The room we received was in rough shape. The linens we received for the bed were not meant for a king-size bed (they literally took sheets for 2 single beds and tried to pass it off as a fitted sheet, and took the comforter of a double and attempted to also pass it off as a kind size comforter) and despite our request they were not changed. The bathtub which had been one of the reasons we had booked the room had all kinds of stains on it, and the stopper ripped out of the tub, making it so we couldn't use it. None of the issues I mentioned were here last year and I'm incredibly disappointed as I had been looking forward to this stay my entire trip. Thankfully the view was still amazing.

We enjoyed our stay at the Olympic for 11 nights while visiting Amsterdam in late August. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. It is convenient to the tram line 24 which connected us the everywhere we wanted to go on the city. We rented bikes from the hotel and easily rode the Vondelpark. The sauna and cooling tubs where very nice. Usually ate breakfast on our own outside of the hotel, but did try it one day and it was adequate. The canal view room was lovely, watching boats cruise by. We originally chose to be close Vrjie University, but enjoyed the neighborhood location outside of the tourist zone. I would recommend.

I liked my stay very much. Honestly it is the best if compared to other hotels of the same stars level. The room is very clean. The room design is comfortable. All what you want is there; coffee machine, kettle to boil water, fridge and safe.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
