A beautiful stay with fantastic views and amenities. Other than the fact that you have to figure out your own food, this place doesn't feel like a hostel. The whole place is very clean and comfy, with the lounge area being a great place to meet other people and share a drink. The onsen pools are awesome (not too hot) and there's an indoor and outdoor pool that you can go into depending on the time of day. Word of caution: if you have a lot of luggage take a bus up to the hotel. The walk up is very steep and not for those out of shape. The staff were also very friendly and helpful during our stay. If you want a more traditional Japanese hostel without a huge price tag you cannot go wrong with this place.

Fine hostel close to many tourists attractions close by. The bus and train station are around the corner. The hostel is clean, tidy and the staff speaks English. The dormitory is not too spacious but alright for a day or two. Your bunk bed contains a small locker where your personal belongings can be stowed away and locked off. The air-conditioning is pretty well on continuously but not disturbing. The common rooms are tidy and relaxing too.

Nice small getaway hotel where mainly workers reside. Friendly atmosphere with a mixture of mainly people from Japan and India. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Onsen is available to hotel guests. Was also our first experience with having to put down your shoes near the entrance. That was quite the "trust" hurdle. So be prepared (note: shoes were still there next morning). Bus stops 100m away from the hotel and taxi (in 2023) was about 600 yen. Walking is 20-30 min up hill.

English if you need it, and you can rent a yukata for chilling. The indoor and outdoor onsens are perfect temperature, and it's a great place to relax. Quite close to the station too, and a bus stop to take you up the mountain to Owakudani. The walk is really no joke though. We are all very fit, and walking up with our carry-on luggage was quite the chore. It's totally worth it though. The lounge room and kitchen are also super spacious. The place is old, but not in a bad way. It's in a way that makes you feel relaxed, so don't let some other reviews cloud your judgement too much.

It was a perfect stay ! The staff is very very kind, the shared spaces are very clean (kitchen, living room, showers, ...) Outdoor onsen is very cute. 4 showers to prepare your body, then relaxation in the hot waters. A must to do in Hakone. It was our first stay in a traditional japanese style house, and it was a very good experience. Lac Ashi, its view on the Fuji 🏔️, its cable cars, its old Corsair boat, ... are must to do in the region.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
