Probably the tallest hotel you could have in Osaka. Although branded as Marriott, it is as good as other high-level luxury hotel in the region. The location is really nice for shopping nearby or visit other popular places by public transportation. Would stay here next time.

Poor service and a horrible experience. Not amiable, no drink or towel provided upon arrival, no one to greet you, not even a nice grin from the employees. was disappointed because this is reputable hotel and Japanese often practice high standards for service. With with my family, we flew through the night, slept poorly on the plane, and landed at 5.45 a.m. Exhausting and early in the morning, I have 507 nights of Marriott hotel experience under my lifetime gold elite membership, which I earned seven years in a row as platinum elite member. Marriott, you let us down being a reputable hotel with poor staffs and service.

I had high expectations for staying at this hotel, but unfortunately, I am dissapointed. Although the staff is accommodating, the bed was comfortble, and the view is spectacular. Reason's why I am dissapointed. First; Finding the entrance to the hotel parking can be a challenge. Second; There is no Welcome drink when you arrived. I have stayed in several 3 to 5 star hotel's, and so far, the 4 and 5 star hotels I've stayed at provide a welcome drink to their guests. Third; The lobby. In other hotels, even 3 star hotels have comfortable seats in their lobby for guests waiting to be checked in. However, at Marriott, you will need to go to their lounge and order something so that you can sit comfortably while waiting for your room to be ready. Fourth and the most I'm dissapointed about; We payed ¥4,500 per person for the breakfast buffet. It's not worth it. For a hotel that is regarded as world-class, the food options are very limited. I feel like I'm having breakfast in a three-star hotel with a spectacular view of the city skyline. Fifth; The room, It's almost 10 years since the hotel opened, but the interior doesn't have the "world-class" hotel vibe. Overall, it seems like we're staying in a 3-star hotel, but paying a lot of money for the breathtaking skyline view from our room.

Is this really a 5 star hotel? We stayed in a triple room and paid ¥70,000 per night. The amenities are in short supply and the rooms are not large. Beverages in the refrigerator are not free and are overpriced. The city view from the room is outstanding day or night. Finding the hotel parking is tricky pay close attention to the sign on the side of the building. There isn't any signage to guide you to parking, you will definitely miss the entrance. The lobby for this Hotel is on the 19th floor, there are restaurants and stores located on basically any other floor. Overall, you probably will be disappointed with the room size and the amenities. I think for the price you should receive more amenities, free drinks besides water, coffee and tea. The location of the Hotel is in a busy area but USJ, Osaka Tower and Osaka castle are within a 10-20 minutes drive. Of course on the top floor of this building is the famous Abenos Harukas... different review of that.
