In all my research on Italy this was an hotel I’d hoped to visit. We managed to book one night at late notice. And we were not disappointed. Very beautiful room. Amazingly friendly helpful team. Bed comfy. Excellent shower. Buffet breakfast outstanding. Highly recommended.

Rooms with the pool or hot tub so very hot inside, 2 rooms had been booked both for Ourselves and 2 other friends, AC does not work, gave us a rattling fan and took off cover of AC but did nothing to cool room, also very dark in rooms and no chairs to sit on, broken toilet flushers and broken pool knobs, refrigerator does not keep anything cold, free breakfast very average. Was told we would be issued credit for the room problems but never received credit. Only good part was dinner at the Restaurant and the views outside of the room. Staff not helpful at all addressing problems just wanted to make excuses.

Everything about our stay here was absolutely perfect. We had originally planned to check into the room and then go out to find somewhere in town to eat, but once we saw the location of the hotel with the two dining tables along the wall with a beautiful view over the town, we decided we had to eat there and it was absolutely fantastic! (We especially loved the pasta with the walnuts and pumpkin sauce!) Such a wonderful location (it's on the quieter side of Madera and you truly feel like you've stepped back in time!) As for our room, we booked the suite with the cave pool and it was absolutely stunning! It took a bit to get used to the humidity in the room, but we this suite was definitely a phenomenal and unique experience! I cannot rate this hotel highly enough, the room was amazing, the location was perfect, the restaurant is outstanding. Look no further and book this place, you won't regret it!

Absolutely beautiful cave hotel. Incredible service, fantastic amenities (Culti Milano diffuser, high-end toiletries), and a gorgeous restaurant within the cave. The location is perfect - right in the midst of the Sassi on the Via Muro, with panoramic views of the gorge. The only two hiccups here are: (1) the parking garage is on the other side of town (about 5 minutes walk to the shuttle and then 10 minutes drive) and you have to pre-book the shuttle to the parking garage, which is not always available, so it is a bit complicated to arrive and depart with your own vehicle, and (2) Matera is beautiful, but can get boring after a few days. The local population was almost entirely been forcibly removed from the Sassi in the 1960s, so only tourist hotels and tourist-oriented restaurants are there now. There is not much left to do in Matera once you have explored the Sassi for a day or two. But if you are going to Matera, stay here.

We splashed out for the NYE dinner, and we're glad we did! First impressions were that the space itself is very special. It manages to be historically/culturally significant, romantic and very elegant. Beautiful setting for a special meal. Secondly we loved the wine pairings, including the champagne we had with the oyster appetizer, a very good prosecco with our meal, and a delicious moscato to compliment panettone at midnight. In the 7-8 courses we tried over nearly a four-hour period, my husband and I each had our favorites, like the ravioli with black truffle and the scallop and asparagus entrée. We were really pleased with portion sizes, pacing and the menu as a whole. (Okay, maybe we could have eaten one or two more of those delicious oysters!) Last but certainly not least, we thought the service was perfect. The waiters handled a big job with flying colors in a quiet, kind and unobtrusive way. The thoughtful service made the night for us. And if you ever happen to go for NYE, be sure to duck out just at midnight to see a wonderful fireworks show just overhead.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
