        I had 6 nights stay at Palazzo Donizetti hotel this month and it was not the first time I had stayed at this hotel two years ago. This hotel is fabulous i am in love with all its details. From the name to the location to the service all is excellent. Location is perfect Rooms are well designed and cleaned daily. Breakfast this time was richer, and more delicious than before. Love it❤️ Staff are very polite and helpful. The design of hotel is like entering a palace wonderful.

        The wifi was very unstable during the entire stay, not working 95% of the time in the rooms. I understand we might have just gotten unlucky, however the staff was very condescending with the situation and acts like the guest doesn’t know how the WiFi works. They keep telling us that it works, or that it’s because we have an iPhone and it works better with other phones, or it is going to be fixed in a few hours even when it clearly doesn’t work and did not get fixed throughout our entire 3 night stay. We also switched rooms the first day because they told us the WiFi was only broken on our floor. We were asked to bring all our things with no help down to the lobby just to go back up to a different floor with the same broken WiFi and 2 single beds. They then told us to go to a different room over the phone with a king bed so we did and ended up waiting for 15 mins to just go back downstairs to find the staff as no one came. We didn’t want to move again so when we asked the staff to put the bed together, they did it in the most unhygienic and lazy way possible and one of the staff doing the bed had a terrible smell. The staff simply took the duvet a single bed and turned it horizontally instead of getting a new duvet. Clearly doesn’t fit as our feet will be hanging out?? The hotel has the potential to be very nice, the rooms were spacious and bed was comfortable. WiFi clearly does not work in the rooms, even if the staff tells you it does… I understand sometimes there are technical difficulties but gaslighting the guests isn’t the way to go.

        We had an OK experience. Cons: 1. The wifi is the most important problem of the Hotel. Basically, most of the times the connection is not available in the rooms. 2. The infrastructure of the hotel has problems. There was leaking water from the roof for our two rooms. Although the assistance solved the problem, this issue exists for the hotel. 3. The rooms are too dark and does not have a good view or even a view :) 4. Although the breakfast had several options, the quality of the foods were not good enough. 5. The hotel has only one elevator that is not enough. Most of the time we needed to wait a lot or use the stairs. Pros: 1. The location is very good. You can easily access to Istiklal and the şişhane metro station. 2. The hotel is pretty clean. A good smell can be felt everywhere and the rooms are clean. 3. It is a beautiful place with a very nice roof. We spent a night there and we enjoyed it. 4. Although the staff cannot speak English, they are helpful. 5. The lobby is beatiful and you can spend time using wifi (that only works there;). Overall, we had an OK experience.

        The spa was exceptional. Maria did an excellent massage and this was followed by the sauna, steam room, exfoliating experience and then pool time. Well looked after throughout. A must.

          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

          Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.
