I typically choose boutique hotels because the hotel group usually puts a lot of effort into the small details and has personality and good vibes vs large conglomerate chain hotels with no soul. The Palihotel Westwood has so much potential but it has missed the mark… by a lot. Let’s start with service… basically, there isn’t any… they don’t answer the phones and when they’re there and you need assistance, they visibly show you how you are inconveniencing them. Irma was probably one of the worst hospitality folks I’ve met. Very unpleasant and will treat you like a criminal if you accidentally locked yourself out of your room. The nicest person was actually the overnight security guy. Shout out to him for our only pleasant interaction at the hotel. The free breakfast is a stale croissant and some basic fruit like bananas and apples. Once it’s done, they don’t even clean up the plate or crumbs. It is left out there, and I suspect they don’t wash and change the serving platters. The rooms… they are decorated okay but super musty and humid with some mold growing on the bathroom tiles. No exhaust fan in the bathroom so the room stays humid after you shower and if you need to use the bathroom, any smells will linger. The bathroom sink is in the entry way right next to the door rather than inside of the bathroom, so if you are there with a partner with different work schedules, one of you will not sleep well when the other one needs to get ready. If you’re on your own, than no biggie! The bed… old school spring coil mattresses with a dip in the middle and pillows that are so flat they feel worse than the cheapest IKEA pillows… not comfortable at all. The location, however, is great because you can walk everywhere, and sadly it’s the best feature about the hotel. Lastly, if you left something at this hotel, good luck trying to get it back. You might as well consider it gone. As someone who leads brand for companies, this hotel really needs some TLC and the staff needs a major morale boost.

It’s an adorable hotel, but I was put in the room closest to the lobby & it was so noisy. The walls are very thin & I could hear conversations & laughter in the hall & the lobby all night long. It made it extremely difficult to get any sleep. Very frustrating after a long day of traveling.

Lovely hotel in a quiet area of LA. Room was small, especially the bathroom, but no smaller than many newer hotels in other large cities, and the shower was hot with good pressure! The only minor issue is noise from corridors/other rooms, but in an older hotel this can't be helped and 9/10pm-8am was quiet enough that sleep was not disturbed at all. My room was on level 1 just off the main reception/lobby. In a quieter and safer neighbourhood with plenty of food/essentials in walking distance, I would highly recommend!

Extremely friendly and helpful front desk staff, small but beautifully decorated rooms and cute, welcoming lobby. Both were so beautiful I had to take photos as a Both were so beautiful I had to take photos as inspiration for my own home. Excellent location for just stepping out the front door and going for a walk in a lovely neighborhood. I appreciated that there was morning coffee in the lobby, but there should be plant-based milk in the little fridge provided. Also, there were some croissants, but again, nothing for vegans (typical of most hotels with complimentary offerings). I would definitely return to this hotel. I would recommend the staff keep their conversation down in the mornings as my room was right next to the lobby, and I was woken up by conversation that was at a shouting level. It didn’t bother me because I wanted to get up early anyway but if I had wanted to sleep past seven, it wouldn’t have been possible. The smell of the hair products and body wash in the shower are wretched and unfortunately they make the entire room smell like that. I would recommend switching products and definitely bring your own. If you plan to stay here or you will smell like this for your entire day.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
