My husband and I got to know regarding Little England Cottages through a friend of ours and we were little nervous as it is after 7 years that we travelled to Nuwaraeliya. But my mindset immediately changed once we stepped into this property located in the middle of pedro estates. The breathtaking views of the surroundings coupled with the amazing hospitality of the Pedro barn staff made us wanted to stay for few more days. The cottages and the beautifully maintained garden truly gives you the feeling of being in a western country. And not to forget the top notched service of the staff, classy rooms, and taste of food. We booked a table prior to arrival and still they did not give us a table and also told us they don't serve high tea. Bad service. The hospitality was extremely bad. As Indians, we felt like this place is racist to it's own people and to people who look like them. They made us wait another hour after arrival. We looked around and still felt pretty bad about the way they received us. I advice Indians in particular to not go to this place. We could rather give our money to some place with good hospitality(sri lanka is filled with so many of those). Don't go there seeing all the hype on youtube. It is a worthless place run by people with poor manners. Don't spoil your vacation. Our driver took us to queenswood restaurant for lunch from here and we loved it there- local food, ambience and hospitality.

Very Disappointed Customer Service.😡 I visited Pedro Barns-Little England on 07/11/2023 for a Dinner & with family.Though it’ was a Dinner We came bit earlier at about 17:30,so we can enjoy the surroundings and to enjoy the dinner after that.The securities were not informed of the arrival of us & it took about 10 min. for the verification.After that When we stepped in to the Restaurant the receptionist person didn’t make any greeting to us and stare us.”just why you come here”feeling to all of us.Just got the order.When we were in the restaurant their radio at its high volume level just like street food shop(NIGHT KADE).Actually no any common sense to them.Served a HOT meal to my 2 years old child.No greetings/sense when we leaving too.So EMBARRASSING. NOT Recommend to any one.Actually not value for Money you spend.

This is truly a dream honeymoon destination. The view is gorgeous and the staff was really friendly. The food was delicious hats off to the amazing chef. Wifi and TV was completely broken. Since we were on a social media free break; this was okay for us. The most disappointed thing was that the hot water shower stopped working in the middle of the night. Personally I had to take a shower with freaking cold water when the temperature was like 8-10 outside. It was working fine in the beginning but apparently it stopped working when I was having a shower.

Great atmosphere at the restaurant. Mind boggling views and well maintained area. Located in Little England the food was good too. You might need a prior booking to enter the premises. Superb location for photo shoots and pleasant and peaceful walk. 👍🏻

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. We will forward these requests to the hotel; however, please note that the hotel may or may not be able to accommodate them depending on availability at the time of check-in. Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
