Very cosy Pension. Comfy beds (for Japan). Woman who owns it is very friendly and often downstairs in the large living space watching Japanese soap operas, so always around to give you ice or take care of your key or rubbish etc. It does feel like you are staying in a family house, but not cramped. Rooms were clean and spacious, bathrooms are clean but not all are western-style. Does have a curfew at 22:30, so if you are the type who likes to party this won't be for you. Good location for the temples on the eastern side of the city including Philosopher's Walk and Ginkaku-ji temple.

I stayed here for 4 nights with my family while travelling through Japan. On the upside, it is quiet and clean, the beds are comfortable, and the owners kind & helpful. There are communal bathrooms that are traditional Japanese style and as such, you're asked to only shower from 6:30pm to 10:00pm. There is a curphew on the hotel of 10:30pm and the owners lock the front door afterwards. This can be difficult because the hotel is located quite a way outside downtown Kyoto with no train station close by. It is close to the Philosophers Walk and Ginkakuji temple, but everything else is the city is 30+ minutes away by bus.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
